Sau Leena Kishor Mamidvar Institute of Management Studies and Research, Chandrapur (LKMIMSR) is a premier institute which provides quality management education. 

Admission Cycle of LKMIMSR LKMIMSR generally takes place at the start of the academic year, and hence applications are likely to begin in the first few months of the year for the July/August academic session. "Admission for flagship courses, primarily MBA, will be based on performance in recognized entrance exams like MAH MBA CET, MAT or CAT.".

Among all the entrance exams, MAH MBA CET is one of the most important entry exams for the LKMIMSR MBA. The new academic year's MAH MBA CET will be held between 16-18 March, 2025. This entrance will be done through the online mode. The applicants need to take note of this and prepare in advance.

The eligibility criteria for the MBA program at LKMIMSR include a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). In addition, candidates must qualify in one of the accepted entrance exams. For the BBA program, students who have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board are eligible to apply.

Application Process

Application Process Admission to LKMIMSR, especially to MBA programs is provided as follows.

1. Entrance Exam

There is an imperative requirement for attending MAH MBA CET, MAT, or CAT. If this is MAH MBA CET

• MAH MBA CET will take place from 16-18th March, 2025

It contains sections of Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability/Reading Comprehension in the pattern of the exam.

2. Application to LKMIMSR

After completion of the entrance exam, the candidate applies directly to LKMIMSR. It will mostly consist of the following:

• Application form-online/offline as per the institute
• Submission of the required documents
• Entrance exam scorecard
• Mark sheets of 10th and 12th
• Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate for those who apply for MBA
• Caste certificate if one is eligible for caste-based benefits
• Any other certificates as required by the institute

3. Document Verification: A short-listed candidate might be required to attend the institute for document verification

4. Personal Interview: The candidates short-listed for the MBA course would be invited for a personal interview at the institute

5. Merit List: Based on entrance exam scores, academic record and interview if necessary, a merit list is released.

6. Admission Confirmation: Selected candidates must confirm their admission by paying the fees and submitting the original documents within the given time frame.

Degree wise Admission Process

MBA: LKMIMSR offers the two-year full-time MBA course with approved intake of 180 seats. Admission is based primarily on the score in MAH MBA CET, MAT, or CAT. The selection process encompasses entrance exam score, academic record of previous qualifications, and also personal interview in some cases.

BBA : The BBA program of LKMIMSR has an approved strength of 220 seats; a process, at least in most cases, that considers the candidate's 10+2 scores and may include a college-level entrance test or an interview.
