SDM Institute of Nursing Sciences Dharwad is a pioneer institute in the field of nursing education, it started in the year 2006 located at Manjushri Nagar, Sattur, Dharwad – Karnataka. The Indian Nursing Council-affiliated co-educational institute has opened its doors to offer a variety of nursing courses in multiple speciality fields. The institution is affiliated with RGUHS. This institute that sits on a large 80 acre land has been able to take in 377 total students and has a total number of faculty that is 13. Full-time programmes offered in the Institute: Information Technology has 5 full-time courses: undergraduate, Post Graduate, Diploma. A total of 100 students are admitted to the B.Sc. Nursing regular course, M.Sc. Community Health Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, and Paediatric Nursing, which admit a limited number of students for specialisation. Also offered are a GNM diploma course and Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing, for which the institute offered a total of 377 students.
