Shree Rama Educational Society Group of Institutions (SRES), Tirupati is now providing undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a number of engineering and management streams. The institution has a structured admission program to accommodate those students who want to pursue the specified program and degree level.

SRES considers the AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) merit list mainly for undergraduate admission to the associated institute. The institutes follow a ratio of 70:30, of which 70% of the total seats are filled through the counseling process organized by the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, while the other 30% are by the management quota.

M.Tech postgraduate programs on the other hand admit students according to the GATE score or AP PGECET (Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) ranking. Similarly, 70% of the admissions are through the counseling procedure, while 30% are through the management quota.

Application Process

B.Tech Programmes:

• Qualify for the AP EAMCET examination.

• Register for AP EAMCET counseling.

• Choose SRES and preferred branches during the counseling.

• If you get a seat, go for document verification & payment of fees in SRES.

M.Tech programmes:

• Full pass in GATE or AP PGECET examination.

• Apply through the respective counseling process (either GATE or AP PGECET).

• During counseling, choose SRES and specialization of interest.

• If selected, go through campus admission.

For MBA:

• Qualify for the APICET exam.

• The next step is to complete APICET counselling.

• Choose SRES for seat allocation.

• If allotted a seat, report to the institute for admission.

For lateral entry into B.Tech (2nd Year):

• Eligibility: ECET-qualified.

• Enroll through the ECET counseling process.

• Choose SRES and the branch of interest.

• After gaining entry, complete the admission formalities at SRES.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Tech:
SRES offers five B.Tech programs, which are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Most admissions take place based on the ranks attained through the AP EAMCET. Candidates should pass their 10+2 where they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The entire B.Tech program can be joined with a maximum intake of 180 seats.

M.Tech:
SRES also offers six areas of specialization in M.Tech: VLSI System Design, Computer Science and Engineering, Digital Electronics and Communication Systems, Embedded Systems, Structural Engineering, and Computer Science. The admissions to the different M.Tech specializations are merit based on GATE scores or AP PGECET ranks. The candidate should meet the requirements of having a relevant B.E./B.Tech. degree. Intake for the various M.Tech is between 9–12.

MBA:
SRES has a full-time MBA program for two years. The Admission through APICET ratings followed by counseling will be in place. The sanctioned intake is 90 for the course.
