72 Months
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and the course offered by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students who have passed M.A./M.Sc. and M.Com. with 60% marks and pass NET/SET/PET can register their names for a Ph.D. degree as either part-time or full-time research fellows.
  • For teacher fellows, those who have completed 5-year full-time service need not require to pass PET.

The admission procedure is based on NET/SET/PET entrance exams.
