Admissions to SDCH are strict and transparent based on state and national guidelines. Admission to the first-year BDS course will be based on the National Eligibility and Entrance Test conducted by the National Testing Agency - NEET-UG. Admissions are centrally carried out by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra. 15% of the total seats in concerned courses are reserved for NRI quota admission, whereas 85% are filled purely based on the discretion of the DMER rounds, keeping into consideration constitutional reservation policies. For postgraduate courses, the admission is done as per NEET-MDS as per Dentistry Council of India. The institute-level vacant seat round is conducted by the college itself to fill up the vacant seats created by students after the centralised admission process.

Sinhgad Dental College and Hospital (SDCH), Pune, admission cycle usually coincides with the national entrance examination schedules. The college has a separate library which is open at weekdays and campus has one which is open 24/7. The labs are well equipped and well maintained. Mess are available for boys and girls.
