Dear Aisha,
The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has 16 colleges affiliated to it under BJMC( Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication). Every year admission into these 16 colleges are done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination, the IPU CET. Once your ranks has been published, you can seek admission as per the cut -offs for each college. According to last year's cut- off you can get an idea as to which Colleges you can approach for admission. The cut-offs will be similar to the last year's . The colleges will release the minimum and maximum ranks and whoever falls in this range will be accepted in the particular college. It is also important to note that the ranks vary according to the categories. Please make sure to check underneath the category you fall in. There will be 11 different categories: GNGND — Delhi Region General , GNDCD — Delhi Region Defence ,SCGND — Delhi Region Scheduled Caste ,STGND — Delhi Region Scheduled Tribe, GNPHD — Delhi Region Physically Handicapped, GNGNO — Outside Delhi Region General ,GNDCO — Outside Delhi Region Defence,SCGNO — Outside Delhi Region Scheduled Caste,STGNO — Outside Delhi Region Scheduled Tribe, GNPHO — Outside Delhi Region Physically Handicapped ,GNKMA — Jammu & Kashmir Migrants.
You can visit the official website of the University to chek the previous year cut-offs. This is the link :http://www.ipu.ac.in/pubinfo/admission2018/adm2018notices/cutoff2017a210518/Round%2001-Cut%20Off/Cut%20off%20Round%2001%20BA%20(JMC)%20for%20session%202017-18.pdf
Please do cross check the same.
