Sri Venkateswara Ayurvedic College is one of the premier institutes and was established in 1983 at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. This college, affiliated with Sri Venkateswara University and Central Council for Indian Medicine, offers a wide range of Ayurvedic courses. Situated on a compact 3 acre campus, this college has a total student enrolment of 282 and a faculty strength of 32. It is a co-educational college and gives equal opportunity to both male and female students. The college conducts 8 courses spanning 4 degree programmes in Ayurvedic medicine, designed to serve undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Sri Venkateswara Ayurvedic College provides a number of facilities to support educational and personal development.  Sri Venkateswara Ayurvedic College offers a wide range of courses so as to deal with different areas of interest under the science of Ayurvedic medicine. The college has 8 regular full courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.The flagship undergraduate programme is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS Ayurvedacharya), admitted 40 students per year. At postgraduate level, several specialised MD and MS programmes are carried out with an intake of 6 students each. These include MS Panchakarma, MS Shalya Tantra, MD Dravyaguna, MD Rasa Shastra, MD Kaumara Brithya and MD Ayurveda Samhita. For research-oriented students, the college has a Ph.D. programme in Ayurveda Varidhi

The admission procedure in Sri Venkateswara Ayurvedic College is strict and filter out the perfect candidate for the course. Degree Wise Admission Process

The college has a sanctioned intake of 40 seats for this program. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.

MS Panchakarma: This postgraduate program admits 6 students per year. The admission is based on the candidate's performance in the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). Candidates must have a BAMS degree or equivalent qualification recognized by the CCIM.

MS Shalya Tantra: It has 6 seats and admits BAMS graduates of recognized institutions on the basis of AIAPGET.

MD Dravyaguna: MD Dravyaguna is also offered to 6 students every year according to AIAPGET scores. Candidates should have completed their BAMS degree to be eligible for admission.

MD Rasa Shastra, MD Kaumara Brithya, and MD Ayurveda Samhita: Each of these postgraduate programs has an intake of 6 students. Admissions are conducted through AIAPGET, and candidates must possess a BAMS degree.

Ph.D. Ayurveda Varidhi: The institute offers these elective courses for a research PhD in Ayurveda. Although no specific details are mentioned regarding admission, it can be presumed that the qualification of the candidates is followed by further entrance tests or interviews.
