St. John's Pharmacy College, Bangalore is one of the renowned institutions for pharmacy education in Karnataka. B. Pharma B Pharma is a four-year undergraduate course offered at St. John's Pharmacy College with an approved intake of 60 students. Candidates generally get admission in the B. Pharma programme through the merit list of 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics. However, some states accept pharmacy entrance exam scores for admission.

D. Pharma: The college provides the two-year D. Pharma course with an intake of 60 students. For D. Pharma, one usually requires a pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. The intake would be direct from marks scored in 10+2 or through the state-level diploma entrance exam as prevailing norms would prevail.

B.Pharma Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can be directly admitted into the second year of the B.Pharma program. State government or the institution is not definitely sure about the approved intake. In the case of lateral entry, admissions are usually based on the performance in the diploma program and/or any additional entrance tests that might be conducted by the state and/or the institution.
