HISTORY INITIATION- Swami Keshwanand Institute of Technical Education Sikar (SKITE) was established in 2010, as a technical College that it is today. This affiliated college is in Sikar, Rajasthan and has really made a place for itself in the field of technical education. Accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), SKITE extends a suite of diploma programs cutting across fields of engineering.
The institute occupies the area of 32.12 acres of land and thus can be regarded as having optimal conditions for learning process. With a total of 155 students intake and faculty of 39 students, SKITE is capable of offering quality education to students and also to maximize student faculty ratio. Institute has shown strict adherence to technical education through its wide variety of courses offered in five areas of specialization in engineering.

It has laboratories fully equipped to support learning and the application of learning in practice by the institute’s students. Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: With a capacity of 60 students, this diploma programme has the same admission process as the Civil Engineering diploma. The candidates are shortlisted either through the government counseling process or on merit under the Management Quota.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering: This diploma programme also has 60 seats and has the same traditional admission process of counseling or selection on merit under the Management Quota.
Diploma in Electronics Engineering: The course has a total of 60 seats and is admitted to through the Board of Technical Education's counseling or the Management Quota on the basis of academic performance.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: SKITE's last diploma course has an intake of 60 and follows the same procedure of admission as the rest of the courses.
