Talla Padmavathi College of Pharmacy (TPCP) was established in 1997 and the college is situated at Kareemabad, Warangal district of Telangana. This is a co-educational institute, recognised by the Bihar Intermediate Council and an affiliated college of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). TPCP is located on a 5-acre plot and provides 8 courses at three different levels of study within the pharmaceutical science field. The college has a total enrolment of 403 students, with a gender ratio of 1:2.77 (male to female). Currently, TPCP has 48 faculty members, 10 percent of the students from other states in India, and programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels.

The college has some amenities available to cater for the learning needs of the students. As an information and learning resource centre, the library is endowed with a rich stock of science, engineering and technology, humanities, and management information in the form of books, journals, and various electronic materials. To female students, TPCP provides all accommodation for a hostel, separated living space, a spacious room with good ventilation and hot water facilities available 24/7. The whole complex as well as hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi (10 Mbps). Besides, for the day scholars and staff, there are operating buses from various places in Warangal to the college on working days.

Talla Padmavathi College of Pharmacy has a total of 8 courses to offer with full-time programmes right from undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels. The courses offered at the institute include B.Pharma, M.Pharma with specialisation in Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharm.D., and Pharm.D. (Post Baccalaureate). There are hundred seats approved for admission into B.Pharma per session, while M.Pharma Pharmaceutics has 15 admission quotas. It has not been possible to obtain the number of graduates for the latest year.

The admission policy at Talla Padmavathi College of Pharmacy is made clear and the following is the general procedure. TPCP also takes financial responsibility for its students; last year, a large number of students were reported to have received reimbursements. In regards to the reintroduction of reimbursement for undergraduate programmes, 76 out of 292 students were reimbursed and at the postgraduate level, only 22 out of 98 students were provided with financial reimbursement. In the context ofонт-based programmes, only 31 out of 146 students received refunds. There is also the Training and Placement Cell in the college, which helps initiate the processes for recruiters to visit the college and ensure the graduating students get placed right after college.
