Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English is a Doctoral program and it is offered by the Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore. The ph.D. the program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

Full Time-M.A English with not less than 55% (5% relaxation for SC/ST) or a CGPA of 5.51/10 point scale under CBCS.
