It also deals with the design of related devices like transformers, generators, electric motors and power electronics that make up the grid. Power engineers work on the design and maintenance of power grids in order to achieve better stability, more optimisation, effective scheduling of generation, etc.

The candidate should have passed B.Tech/ BE degree with the related subject from any recognized College or University.
