Electrical power systems engineering, is a specialisation within Electrical engineering that deals with generartion subsystem, the transmission subsystem and the distribution subsystem. It also deals with the design of related devices like transformers, generators, electric motors and power electronics that make up the grid. Power engineers work on the design and maintenance of power grids in order to achieve better stability, more optimisation, effective scheduling of generation, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed B.Tech/ BE degree with the related subject from any recognized College or University.
