Vaishnavi School of Architecture and Planning (VSAP) was started in the year 2010 in Hyderabad, Telangana to provide architectural education. This affiliated college, which is recognised by the Council of Architecture, focuses a unique taste to architectural education. With a space of just 2 acres, VSAP has established itself as a pioneer institute in the field of architecture and planning. The total number of students in the Institute is 359, out of 25 faculty members, thus admitting a student-teacher ratio, which promotes one on one interaction and personalised teachings.
VSAP has boasted of modern facilities to complement the learning process of the various students enroled in this institution. The college library contains an estimated 2350 books and 1350 titles and relates to subjects such as architecture and interior design, landscape architectures as well as urban planning. The library operates for 9 hours a day and has subscription to twenty-eight journals five of which are international for students to be up to date with developments in the course. The institute also has laboratories for academic studies and research especially for civil engineering discipline besides the civil engineering theories the students can also get practical experience. To the purpose of all round development, various concessions like sports facilities, canteen, and an open theatre for other activities and seminars is available in VSAP. Another area of concern in the college is the health of the students, to this end the college has a health centre for first aid.
VSAP’s academic focus is based upon its premier four-year programme, the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch). This five year full-time course is the main stay of the institute and has a sanctioned strength of 80 students each passing year. The B.Arch programme has been specifically developed in a way to equip the students with adequate knowledge of architecture, methods of design and real life application of the same.
The admission system adopted in VSAP is selective and in conformity with the general sire for admissions in the country. The institute accepts scores from two prominent national-level entrance examinations: the JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination for Main) and the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).

Admission to this programme is granted based on the candidate's performance in either JEE Main or NATA. The B.Arch course is sanctioned for a strength of 80 students per year. Hence, to appear for the JEE Main or NATA exams, the candidate must submit their eligibility credentials by having completed their 10 + 2 degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects with minimum percentage criteria laid down by the Council of Architecture.
VSAP's B.Arch programme aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of architecture, its design approach, and some of its applicability.
