Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) and Animal Husbandry (AH) is a five-year six-month full-time course offered by Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar and Approved by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).


Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates should have a passed and have a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English of the second year PUC of Karnataka Pre-University Board or its equivalent examination.
  •  For candidates belonging to SC/ST and Cat-I a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English of the second year PUC of Karnataka Pre-University Board or its equivalent examination.
  •  The candidates should have appeared for common entrance test (CET) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority, Govt. of Karnataka, Bangalore. 
  • The candidate should be completing 17 years of age as on 31st December of that academic year.

Admission Details

  • Admission for the seats shall be made strictly according to the merit 
  • 50% of the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in the common entrance test conducted by Govt. of Karnataka
