Vignan Institute of Law Guntur, established in the year 2020, is a constituent college situated at Vadlamudi, Andhra Pradesh. I am proud to learn that this co-educational institution enrolled under the Bar Council of India (BCI) stands with an enhanced legal learning space spread across ten acres of land. Vignan Institute of Law, although a relatively new institute, holds a great promise for the future and present with two integrated law courses that take a strength of 120 students together. It is a fact that the faculty strength of the institute is 3, which makes every student get devoted time and value education in relevant fields of law.
Vignan Institute of Law is the policy of the institute to ensure that adequate modern facilities have been put in place to enhance learning and development of the students. Large classrooms with comfortable furniture, supplemented by such facilities as LCD projectors, OHPs, and ceramic boards conducive to learning, are also provided. IT facilities at the college consist of a computer lab complete with licensed software and a strong Wi-Fi connection to allow easy Internet usage.
A state-of-the-art computerised library that meets the international benchmark with fully equipped e-resources, including e-books, e-journals, Manupatra, and JSTOR, among others, acts as an intellectual resource centre for the students and faculty. The college also has a seminar hall with a fully air-conditioned seminar hall with a seating capacity of 300 for workshop lectures and other co-curricular activities that enhance the learning process.
Vignan Institute of Law ensures all-round personal development of its students. With the aim of making the students soft skills trainers for spoken English and foreign languages, foreign language training, soft skills, and an English Language Lab are provided. The institute is also connected to its alumni, which keeps the passing out students engaged to provide useful network to the student seeking employment in his/her particular field of study
Vignan Institute of Law offers two law programmes: BA LLB (Hons) & BBA LLB Hons. They both are five-year full-time courses with an intake of 60 students in each and offer a total of 120 seats in all the programmes offered.
