72 MonthsXCSE offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) degrees in Computer Science & Engineering, providing a research-oriented education in preparation for a research, industrial, or entrepreneurial career. These programs explore both the fundamental aspects and the applications of computation, communication, software and hardware systems.
Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
M. Tech./M.E./Master Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related Engineering disciplines, or MBA with BTech in Comp. Sci./Comp. Engg./Information Technology. CGPA 6.5 out of 10 (or equiv.) in aggregate in your highest qualifying degree.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their academic records and SOPs. The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for Xavier Engineering Entrance Exam (XEEE), and Personal Interview, and Presentation. Candidates who have already qualified GATE/NET or an equiv. national scholarship exam within a year need not appear for the entrance exam. Extra credit is given for Research and Industry experience.
