Yaduvanshi College of Engineering and Technology Sohali (YCET) is an affiliated college started in the year 2012 in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The intake capacity has been approved to 30 for each branch of engineering, and hence it has a total of 150 seats as per all streams of engineering offered. YCET's admission policy is open to everybody, regardless of the set criteria for admission, which are based on merit. For the students having domicile of Rajasthan, 70% of seats are merely filled on the basis of RPET conducted by the RPET coordinator A merit list is generated for the purpose. The remaining 15% of the seats are open to students from outside the state through the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), but as per the merit list prepared by the Directorate of Technical Education, Rajasthan.
The rest 15% of the seats are in the management quota, where the direct admissions are made by the management depending on the student’s performance and qualifications but within the university norms of cut off percentages. The major common test accepted for admission by the institute is Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main).
