For B.Tech. admission, the candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or equivalent exam with a minimum 50% aggregate score along with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together.Candidates with 45% – 50% marks in Class 12 will be considered for admission under the government quota only in private engineering colleges. These students will not get admission to government engineering colleges.In case a candidate has not studied Chemistry in class 12, marks of Computer Science will be considered for the aggregate score. Further, if the candidate has also not studied Computer Science and Chemistry, the marks in Biotechnology will be considered. In case the candidate has not studied any of the above subjects, the scores in Biology will be taken into consideration. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examinations obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.
B.Tech. Management/NRI Quota35% of seats are under Management Quota, allotted on merit by ranking applicants on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and for Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations 2020 (KEAM 2020). Seats under the NRI category (Max 15%) are offered to eligible candidates. Qualifying in the KEAM is not necessary for NRI admission. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme candidates are allotted supernumerary as per the norms of AICTE/Govt.
