Certification Eligibility Criteria

On giving the end-term exam for the Fundamentals of Conduction and Radiation course by Swayam, successful candidates will be given a certificate as proof of completing the course. 

• Candidates are eligible to get a certificate only if their average score in assignments is more than 10 out of 25 and their score in the end-term exam is more than 30 out of 75.
• If all the conditions are not met, candidates will not be eligible for certification even if they score more than 40 out of 100 in the end-term exam.

The certificate exam fees for the course is given below - 

• Candidates need to appear for a proctored exam
• Candidates need to submit a registration form for the final exam 
• Candidates can choose any examination centre close to their location
• The exam has to be answered in-person on the specific exam date 
• Final score on the certificate – 75 percent exam marks + 25 percent average assignment marks
• Average assignment marks – 25 percent marks of the average of best 8 assessments out of a total of 12 assessments
• Exam marks – 75 percent of the marks of the final end-term certification exam, out of 100 marks
• The certificate which will be issued to successful candidates will have the official logos of IIT Guwahati and NPTEL
• The certificate will be sent in soft copy format. It can be verified online at the link http://nptel.ac.in/noc
• Name, photograph, and total score breakup of the candidate will be printed on the final certificate
