1)Candidates who have passed the Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination from any board approved by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development are eligible for admission to Part I of any full-time Diploma Course.
2)Candidates who have passed (10 plus 2) Vocational Examination from erstwhile West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training, now West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Vocational Education Division) or having passed 2 years ITI (ITI trade must be of continuous 2 years duration and a single certificate should mention that) plus passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination, are eligible for admission to the Part II of full-time Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology under Lateral Entry Scheme.
