Work Experience
Individuals willing to take up a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Analytics must possess at least one year of work experience in the field. Apart from this, candidates should have professional knowledge of at least one programming language.
Education
The educational prerequisites for Indian and international students are different. Students residing in India must have pursued a bachelor’s degree in any engineering course or must have graduated in engineering, commerce, science or business stream from a university recognized by UGC, DEC, AICTE, AIU, or any state government.
Students residing outside India should have completed their graduation or received an equivalent degree from any recognised institution or university in their respective country.
Bachelors in engineering, computer science graduates, knowledge of programming language is recommended.
Before selection, a learner’s work experience and academic performance will be duly validated. They will also have to submit a Statement of Purpose. Besides this, every participant will have to sit for a short eligibility test which will be conducted via online mode covering basic mathematics and statistics from the syllabus of class XI and XII, thus they should also possess knowledge of the same and must have secured a minimum of 50% in 12th or graduation.
Certification Qualifying Details
On payment of the course fee in totality and post successful completion of this course, learners will receive a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Analytics from XLRI. Candidates have to maintain at least 80% attendance in the live lectures of the course for the successful completion of this programme. In case the attendance is below 50%, candidates will have to repeat the course. Candidates also have to take all the periodic evaluations throughout the course whose evaluation will be decided by the faculty. Lastly, candidates will also have to appear for an end term examination.
