The candidates applying for the EPGCITMA certification course are required to qualify in some of the eligibility criteria to get admission into this course. The eligibility criteria of this course are designed by IIM, Kozhikode, which are:
Education
The candidate must have passed bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree in any stream with a minimum aggregate mark or equivalent CGPA of 50 per cent.
Experience
The candidate must have three years of managerial/entrepreneurial/professional experience after completing the graduation.
Apart from these, the candidate must have studied three information technology subjects during his/her graduation or should have a diploma certificate in an information technology subject.
OR
The candidate must have two years of experience in IT/ITES/Technology sectors or IT functions of a company.
The candidate needs to qualify in condition ‘1’, ‘2’ and one of ‘3’ or ‘4’ in order to get admission into this course.
Certification Details
The EPGCITMA certification course evaluates candidates' performance on the basis of different tasks conducted by the faculty during the online classes. The tasks include a quiz, real-life case studies, computer-based simulations, projects and class presentation. An end-term exam is conducted in each quarter to evaluate the performance of candidates.
The faculty awards grades to candidates based upon their performance in the end-term exams and different tasks conducted during online classes. The grading system for Executive Post Graduate Certificate in Information Technology Management and Analytics followed in IIM, Kozhikode is as follows:
The Candidate’s CGPA is derived by summing up the grade points after multiplying it with the course credits and dividing it with the total credits for all the courses. Executive Post Graduate Certificate in Information Technology Management and Analytics (EPGCITMA) Fee Structure
Total Course Fee - Rs 2,50,000 + taxes
An alumni fee of Rs 10,000 is to be paid along with the second installment. This fee is compulsory. The candidate has to pay taxes with each installment. The above EPGCITMA course fee doesn’t include any other expenditures the candidate will incur in the one year.
Candidates are evaluated on the basis of end-term exams conducted in each quarter and some other tasks that the faculty conduct during the online live classes. The candidates are given marks in terms of grade, and each grade has some value. After the evaluation, the qualified candidates will receive a certificate for the EPGCITMA training course by IIM, Kozhikode.
