The Candidates should have passed SSLC/10th Standard or any other equivalent examination approved by the DOTE, Government of Tamil Nadu. The qualifications prescribed above are based on the educational system prevailing in Tamil Nadu. Hence, candidates who have studied in other states are liable to satisfy these minimum requirements, irrespective of the rules prevailing in their states. No relaxation in qualifications shall be permitted and admissions are subject to the approval of the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.
