Eligibility criteria
The Information Security Management programme doesn’t have any hard-and-fast requirement that you need to fulfil. However, you must have a minimum work experience of five years as an information security management professional in various CISM job practices. However, you can waiver up to 2 years of work experience.
Additionally, for the CISSP, you must have at least 5 years of full-time work experience in at least 2 of the 8 domains specified under (ISC) ² CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). You can waiver one year of required work experience if you have a 4-year college degree.
Further, to receive the CISM and CISSP certification, one must appear for the certification exam and score at least 450 out of 800 in the CISM exam and 700 out of 1000 in the CISSP exam.
