BEST REGARDS

Hello,
Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla does not offer direct admission into B.Sc. Radiology course.  Admission to this course is based on merit, and the whole process is managed by Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla. To apply to this college, you must wait for the official notification on the HPU website.
You should have passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized board. Because admissions are done based on your 12th board marks, and there’s no entrance exam required specifically for this course at IGMC.
Also, remember that B.Sc. Radiology is a paramedical course, so NEET is not required unless mentioned specifically in the admission brochure.

So, if you’re aiming for IGMC, make sure your academic documents are ready and stay updated through official sources.

And thank you and hope you will find it helpful!

Hi,

Usually, admissions for BSc Radiology start sometime after the Class 12 results, mostly between June and August, but the exact timeline can vary from one college to another. Government colleges usually have fixed deadlines, so you’d have to check on their official website. If you want to take admission now, it’s best to call or visit the college they’ll tell you right away whether seats are open.

Some Private and self-financed colleges sometimes extend their deadlines or allow late admission with a small late fee if seats are vacant . Admissions don’t usually happen online at the last minute, so calling or visiting is the most effective way.To take admission in BSc radiology, you must have passed your Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. A lot of colleges take students directly based on their 12th marks, but a few top colleges ask for an entrance test. Keep your documents like mark sheets, passport-size photos, etc , ready in case you get a chance to apply right away. It’s still possible to get admission just don’t delay.

You can check more details about the college, courses, fees, and admission updates here.
