With 107 marks in general category, you are not eligible for government BAMS seats. But you may get admission in private BAMS colleges under management quota, depending on the state's cutoff and seat availability.

Yes, SNQ quota can be useful in some courses, but it is not commonly used for BAMS admission.

SNQ means Supernumerary Quota. It is an extra quota made mainly for students from economically weaker backgrounds. This quota is mostly available in engineering and technical courses. In medical courses like BAMS, SNQ quota is usually not available.

BAMS admission is mostly done through NEET score. Seats are given based on all India quota, state quota, category quota like SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or sometimes management quota. SNQ quota is not mentioned for BAMS in most states.

But each state has its own counselling process for BAMS. So, it is better to check your state’s official counselling website to confirm if SNQ quota is used for BAMS in your state.

Hello,
If you’re planning to get admission into a BAMS private college, there are several options available to you especially if your NEET score isn't enough for a government seat. Private BAMS colleges admit students based on NEET scores, but their cutoff marks are usually lower than government institutions.
The first thing you should do is participate in the AYUSH counseling, which includes both All India and State Quota counseling. Private college seats are mostly filled during the state quota rounds, so register under your state’s AYUSH portal. If you belong to states like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, or Madhya Pradesh, there are plenty of reputed private BAMS colleges.
Some well-known private BAMS colleges include:

  • Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Ayurveda, Pune
  • Sri Sai College of Ayurvedic Research and Medicine, Bhopal
  • Rishikul Ayurvedic College, Haridwar
  • Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar

Keep in mind that the fee structure varies a lot in private colleges—it can range from 1.5 lakh to 3.5 lakh per year, depending on the college’s reputation and location. Also, some colleges charge additional costs for hostel and clinical exposure.
Wishing you all the best!
