BHU PET is a university level Post Graduation Entrance Exam conducted by Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It is conducted to provide admission to General, Professional, Special and Vocational Courses. The university offers postgraduate programmes in the streams: arts, commerce, social sciences, agriculture, and environment. The examination was originally going to be held from April 26,2020 to May 10, 2020, whereas now it is postponed to be conducted from August 24 – 31, 2020 .

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will hold the BHU PET 2020 counselling procedure in online mode. The counselling of BHU PET 2020 will be held for the shortlisted candidates who have managed to pass BHU PET exam with good ranks. The whole procedure of BHU PET 2020 counselling will be in online mode. The BHU PET counselling 2020 will be conducted for admission in various postgraduate courses including M.A., M.Sc., M.Com. Candidates who will be shortlisted for admission will be issued an electronic call letter which they have to download by entering their username ID and password. The call letters for BHU PET counselling will be sent to the candidate’s registered email IDs/mobile numbers.

BHU PET exam syllabus for MSc Agriculture will have question from BSc agriculture syllabus/ BSc Hons Agriculture syllabus./ BSc of streams dairy science, food science, post-harvest technology.
it will have 120 question. for each correct question, 3 marks will be credited and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score.
You can get the detailed, syllabus from the information prospectus for MSc Agriculture. syllabus is big so try your best to cover as much as you can. it is not important to cover each and every chapter. it is important to understand, remember and not get confused again.

According to an official press release available at http://bhuonline.in/pdfs20/UET_PET_Notification-may2020.pdf the entrance exam has been postponed due to Corona Pandemic and the new dates have not been released yet. So at this point in time, we need to wait to hear for any official information on the official website.

see cutoff score varies year to year , closely related with number of applicants on any particular discipline, students category, seat matrix etc, maximum seat intake in 62. total marks of entrance exam is 360.

the eligibility criteria for M.sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Geography, Zoology, Psychology, Computer Science, Statistics, Home Science.
Candidates must have studied the concered subject t which they want to apply for at graduation level.
For Zoology and Botany msc course applicant , candidates must have also studied Chemistry at graduation level.
For Statistics, candidates must have studied Mathematics at graduation level.
