Eligibility for BHU PET is candidate should have studied B.Sc. (Hons.)/ B.Sc. Under 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with minimum 50% aggregate, there is no requirement for SC/ ST candidates to score any minimum percentage in the qualifying exams as they are only required to have passed the qualifying exams and appeared for BHU PET ,for OBC candidates, there is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate to be secured in qualifying exams.

Since the cut off has not been released for this year yet, according to the previous year's cut off for M.A Economics which was 596 for general category. To be safe you should expect atleast a rank of about 550 and below. But since cut offs tend to vary, below 500 would be better.

Heyy… For the general category, you may or may not get the admission as it totally depends on seats availability in your subject concerned.Counselling had started start from 4th of July. Call letters will be availbale online soon. You must go for it and see how it is processed.You may also get admission via paid seat in general category. If not the main campus, you may go for affiliated colleges in the south campus.

According to the cut offs this year, you have a decent chance to get hostel in the main campus, since the cut offs for general in M.Sc Chemistry is 258. You might be able to get hostel too.

According to the cut offs for M.Sc Bio Chemistry for OBC which is 58, with 32 rank in BHU-PET OBC category, you can get admission in the university. If you have got the call letter from the university, you should definitely go.

You have little Chance to get admission because very less seats are available in bhu . 25 % bhu students quota and 15 % for employees . If possible you also try for paid seat.

According to official cut off for M.Sc. computer science  in BHU , your admission chances are very rare  in main campus . You must need to wait for 2nd or 3rd round counciling sedule . Admission chances are very rare . you need to visit official website for admission updates.
