GCET is the state level entrance exam conducted by the state government of Goa to take admission in engineering colleges. However, it is not necessary to write this exam, there are mamy colleges which offer direct admission on the basis of 12th marks or on the basis of merit in 12th . Also, you can get admission in colleges of Goa by writing any nation level exam or by writing a particular exam conducted by the specific college in which you want admission.

No, GCET exams are not that tough to be honest for getting admissions in engineering colleges in Goa. However, there is one caveat to this, if you would not study well, if you will not prepare well then despite of the pattern, any exam would feel tough to you.

The authorities usually release the application form of GCET on the official website which the candidates have to download and submit in offline mode. Last year the situation made the authorities to escape this trend and release the GCET application form online and candidates had to submit the same online through registration portal.

GCET means Goa Common Entrance test which is governed by the DTE of Goa government for taking admission in different categories of Engineering of the courses admission in state government and in the private institutions or colleges.
GCET is worth answering for taking admission in the engineering courses of your choices. According to the qualifying marks and 12th result which is needed for at least 45% marks in this case is needed definitely.
