The Cut off Marks symbolize the percent that colleges set to rate the student whether he/she able to take admission in a college or not. Meaning of Cut off Marks is the minimum ratio that is set by any college or by the government for providing admission and job respectively. It differentiated in a different situation as colleges set the cutoff marks for giving admission and government set their different cut off marks for proving jobs to the different sector for public sector they set different ratio and for private they also set different percentage. It basically depends on the department who is introducing Cut Off marks for their department need.

Indian Maritime University has released the IMU CET 2020 exam pattern and syllabus in which they clearly mentioned the topics which are considered for exam. There will be total of 50 questions for Mathematics section IMU CET 2020.
Some important topics which are considered for exam section are given below and the syllabus is totally based on 12th state board and CBSE board :-
Sets, Relations and Functions, Matrices and Determinants, Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Permutations and Combinations, Binomial Theorem and Its Applications, Differential Calculus, Sequences and Series, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Three-Dimensional Geometry, Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion,

MU CET 2020 exam date revised; will be held on August 30. IMU CET 2020 application form is now available till August 3.

Sorry to say but you are not eligible for IMU CET Examination because the basic eligibility criteria for this examination is the candidate must be a passed out of class 12th and their age should be a minimum of 17Y/O and Maximum 25Y/O.
The candidate who belongs to SC/ST have a relaxation of 5 years and if they belongs to OBC NCL then they will have a relaxation of 3 years.
The candidate should have the aggregate of 60% in PCM.

If we talk about the rankings for this year than that's uncertain because it's depends upon the exam, level of difficulty, number of students attempting exams and other factors too.
But if we predict on the basis of previous years than you should try to score 150-170 out of 200 in IMU CET to get a rank in top 100.

IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) is a national level entrance examination. With the help of this examination ,candidates will get admission in various UG,PG courses in the the field of marine engineering. Qualifying candidates will be eligible for admission in Mumbai, Cochin, Chennai, Kolkata and Vishakhapatnam campuses.
IMU CET 2020 application form has been released online at the official website of IMU from July 01 and the last date for submission of the form is 26 july.
IMU CET 2020 exam date has also been released as the exam will be conducted on 16th August.

IMU CET will be conducted for three hours in MCQ format with the medium of language being English.
Total questions is 200, with sections such as English,General Questions, General Aptitude, Chemistry(each of 25 questions) and Mathematics, Physics(each of 50 questions). There is no negative marking scheme.
