Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
Yes, after earning your bachelor's degree in history, you can pursue a master's degree in political science. You should, however, inquire about the accompanying marks criteria; an entrance fee may be added on, as most universities do. However, while working on your MA, you should take some political science undergrad classes to have a deeper understanding of the topic, particularly in your area of interest. If political theory is your field, learn Greek while you're at it. Biases exist in translators, and these biases influence how they translate.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck

JNU is one of India's premier postgraduate and research universities. In 2017, the President of India presented it with the Best University Award. Some of India's most well-known thinkers, intellectuals, diplomats, and artists have graduated from the university. JNU was founded in 1969, three years after a Parliamentary Act was passed in 1966. The government has recommended that a Common Entrance Test (CUCET) be conducted for the 54 Central Universities from the academic session 2022-2023, in a move that might be a game changer for higher education in India.
In the year, 2021 JNU was going to take Admissions in their undergraduate courses through CUCET, but due to some unlikely reasons, the college dropped this procedure and took exam through JNUEE only.
But it is almost sure that from this academic year, the admissions to the various undergraduate courses in JNU will be done through CUCET only but there is certain uncertainty even.
So, you can come to the conclusion that the admissions are most likely to be done through CUCET only.
Thank you!
