I got 283 in pcb in kcet 110 how much rank i will get

harsh singh 22nd Apr, 2025

With a score of 283 in PCB (Class 12) and 110 in KCET (Biology stream), your expected KCET rank could range between 5,000 to 10,000. This estimate is based on the 50:50 weightage given to your board marks and KCET score.

Your board marks (94.33%) are quite strong, and your KCET score (110/180) is also decent, which together place you in a competitive position.

I have scored 78 in kcet and 270 in boards what would be my rank

Aman Kar 22nd Apr, 2025

Here’s how we can estimate your rank:

  1. Calculate your KCET Percentage: (Your KCET Score / Total KCET Marks) * 100 (78 / 180) * 100 = 43.33%
  2. Calculate your Board Exam Percentage (assuming PCM): You scored 270 out of 300 in total for all subjects. To consider only PCM, we need the marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Assuming an equal distribution (which might not be accurate, but for an estimate): Marks per subject ≈ 270 / Number of Subjects (let's assume 6 for example) = 45 Assuming you scored similarly in PCM, your PCM total would be around 45 * 3 = 135 (This is a rough estimate. For a more accurate rank, you need your actual PCM marks. ) Percentage in PCM ≈ (135 / 300) * 100 = 45%
  3. Calculate your Combined Score for Ranking: (KCET Percentage / 2) + (Board Exam Percentage / 2) (43.33 / 2) + (45 / 2) = 21.665 + 22.5 = 44.165
  4. Estimate your Rank based on the Combined Score:

Based on the provided search results, there isn't a direct formula to convert this combined percentage to a specific rank. However, we can infer a likely rank range from the "KCET Marks vs Rank" information, keeping in mind the 50:50 weightage.

  • A KCET score of 70-79 generally corresponds to a rank between 40,001 and 50,000.
  • A KCET score of 80-89 generally corresponds to a rank between 30,001 and 40,000.

Since your KCET score is 78, your rank based purely on KCET marks would likely fall in the 40,001 - 50,000 range.

Now, let's consider the board marks. Your estimated board percentage in PCM (45%) is slightly higher than your KCET percentage (43.33%). This might slightly improve your overall rank compared to what it would be based solely on your KCET score.

Therefore, with a KCET score of 78 and an estimated PCM board percentage of 45%, your KCET rank is likely to be in the range of approximately 35,000 to 45,000.

Remember this is an estimated rank.

Hope This Helps !

my kcet score is 120 and pcb score is 280/300 and i belong to 2A OBC can i get a veterinary seat government or private in karnataka in 2025?? my aim is to get bidar or hassan veterinary College!! so can i get? so

Akansha Sharma 23rd Apr, 2025

With a KCET score of 120 and a PCB score of 280/300, and if you belong to the 2A OBC category, you have a decent chance to get a veterinary seat in Karnataka. For colleges like Bidar or Hassan, the cutoff for 2A category is usually within 2000–3000 ranks. If your rank is good, you may get a government seat. You should definitely attend the counseling and keep both options open.

I am Studying in Class 12 BOSSE Board (Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education) this year my results will come in June 2025. Am i eligible for COMEDK and KCET. Pls say i am very scared

Rubina Naseer 22nd Apr, 2025

You should be eligible for COMEDK and KCET, provided you meet their specific eligibility criteria. Generally, both exams require you to have completed 12th grade (or an equivalent) with the necessary subjects, such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, from a recognized board.

For **COMEDK**, the eligibility usually allows students from recognized boards, including open schools like BOSSE, as long as they meet the minimum required marks.

For **KCET**, it typically accepts students who have passed the 12th grade with the required subjects. However, each exam has its specific guidelines regarding board recognition, and you should check the official eligibility criteria for both exams to confirm.

Since your results will be available in June 2025, both exams typically take place earlier in the year (around April-May). You may want to contact the exam authorities or check their websites to understand if any special provisions apply for your situation.

It's normal to feel anxious, but you're eligible as long as you meet the subject requirements and the board is recognized. Keep checking the official sites for updates to ensure you're on track!

I have got 265/300 in board and my kcet marks is 58/180 ...what will be my kcet ranking

harsh singh 22nd Apr, 2025

With 265/300 in boards and 58/180 in KCET, your KCET rank may be around 40,000 – 70,000.

Good board score, but KCET marks are low.

Top branches like CSE/ECE in top colleges may be tough.

You can get other branches in mid-level colleges.

my pcm marks is 60 in kcet and 251 in boards pcm whats my rank range in kcet 2025

Rohan 21st Apr, 2025

With 60 marks in KCET and 251 in board PCM , your expected KCET rank for 2025 would likely fall between 40,000 to 60,000 . The exact rank depends on the overall performance of candidates and the difficulty level of the exam that year. KCET ranks are influenced by both the KCET exam score and board marks . A higher board score can improve your chances slightly, as KCET follows a combination of both to determine the final rank.

However, this is just an estimate, and the actual rank can vary based on the number of candidates appearing, overall exam performance, and normalization processes. For more accuracy, you can use the KCET rank predictor closer to the exam date for a better understanding.
