Can i wait for higher options for keam without paying fees when i got the most lower option

crremyaprasad 11th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

You have to pay the fee within the time limit other wise you didn't get allotement in second phase of allotements and also your current college will also lose, so I advise you to pay the fee immediately the last date of fee remittance has been extended to  13  October 2020 so pls do it immediately, after that you can go for second phase of allotement in that you will get your higher option and on further allotements you will get your most higher option but this will depend on your score and chance of getting in that collge for the applied course

Hope this will help

Thank you

will the college I got in my first allotment will be cancelled if I apply for second allotment in keam

If you lock the college or temporaily join the college then your option will remains but if do not take temporary admission the that option get cancelled and you will get your higher options. After each allotment, the options below the allotted one of the candidate will automatically be
removed from the option list of the candidate. For example, if a candidate had registered 45
options in all, and if he/she is allotted his/her 34th option, all options from 35 to 45 will be
removed from the option list. Since the 34th option is the allotted one, it will not be seen in the
option list. Options from 1 to 33 only will remain valid and will be considered for future
allotments

You can use college predictor to know more preferences.

State Quota seats will be more preferable according to your score .

And try preferring semi government and private colleges just to be on safe side , if you don't wanna lose any seat.

i have got 7077rank in keam and what will be my rank in sprts qouta and ihave a state certificate

crremyaprasad 22nd Oct, 2020
Hello student,
There is  reservation in keam for sports quota

Sports Quota (PI & PT): Candidates who claim reservation under Sports Quota shall fulfil their
eligibility based on the norms of Kerala State Sports Council appended in Annexure XVIII (ii)
prior to submission of application, for the seats as prescribed in the Prospectus.
The candidate should apply online to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, and send a
copy of Confirmation page of the online application along with the required document to the
Secretary, Kerala State Sports Council, Thiruvananthapuram-695001. The Sports Council will
allot marks to the candidates according to their proficiency in sports. The maximum marks for
proficiency is 500.
The Sports Council Authorities will collect the Application Number from the candidates
and furnish it in the proficiency mark list for sports. The mark list of candidates under
Individual Events and Team Events should be prepared separately and forwarded to the
Commissioner for Entrance Examinations so as to reach him on or before 30th April 2020. In the
case of candidates seeking admission to Medical/Agriculture/Veterinary/Fisheries courses, the
marks out of 500 awarded to the candidates for proficiency in sports will be added to the marks
obtained by the respective candidates in the NEET-UG 2020 (provided they are ranked in the
NEET-UG 2020), computed out of 500. In the case of candidates seeking admission to
Engineering/B.Pharm courses, the marks out of 500 awarded to the candidates for proficiency in
sports will be added to the marks arrived at, for the preparation of Engineering/B.Pharm rank
list, computed out of 500. So, the candidates would be eligible for a maximum index mark of
1000. The merit list of individual and team events will be prepared on the basis of inter-se merit
of the candidates computed as above and will be published separately.
At the time of preparation of the inter-se merit list under sports quota, if there is any tie in the
total marks, it will be resolved in such a way that the candidate getting higher Engineering rank
or B.Pharm rank or NEET-UG rank, as the case may be, will be placed higher in the ranking.
The seats under Sports quota for each course or course group, as the case may be, are
reserved by giving equal representation to both Individual (PI) and Team events (PT). A seat
reserved for the Individual events sub category in a particular year will be switched to the Team
events sub category in the following year, and vice versa. If the total number of seats under
Sports quota is an odd number, equal representation will be accomplished in a period of two
years. As the division of seats between Individual and Team events, in the last year, was
implemented at the allotment stage only, this years earmarking of seats to the Individual and
Team events is done based on the actual allotments of the last year under these sub categories.
If there is any vacancy in the seats reserved for a particular sub category (Individual events or
Team events), the seats shall be filled up by candidates from the other sub category. Unavailed
seats in a year will not be carried over to the subsequent year. Such seats will be merged with
the seats set apart for the mandatory reservation.
Hope this will help

Can i participate in keam mop up round as i have joined in government engineering college in third allotment?

tinni.chats 17th Nov, 2020
Hello Aspirant  , hope you are doing good.

So, to answer your question , the fact that you took admission in a government college according to your merit rank, you are not eligible for opting in the spot round.
According to the rules of keam, candidates who have obtained seats in a course in Government colleges on merit will not be eligible to participate in the spot allotment for that particular course.

I paid the 10,000 rupees to cee for keam. But i wish to go abroad. So will i get back my money or not?

crremyaprasad 10th Oct, 2020
Hlw student,
Sure it will be refunded after all allotements,
But I will advise you to contact the keam help line to know more about this because these regulations may vary, keam help line number is 0471- 2332120, 2338487. And 0471- 2332120, 2338487 never lost your chance to get an engineering admission in government colleges by thinking that you will get admission for medical or other courses. only left engineering seat when it becomes
100% sure you will definitely get medical or any other admission , otherwise it's became a mistake if you are interested in engineering also. So take decisions wisely,
All the best for your Future
Hope this will help

I am from Tamil Nadu. My Father is in Indian Army. Can I apply for keam???

crremyaprasad 22nd Oct, 2020
Hello student,

The eligibility criteria for keam are,

Nationality

Candidates should be of Indian nationality.

However, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will also be termed eligible for KEAM 2021. These candidates will not be eligible for reservation.

Domicile

Candidates have to belong to one of the following categories - Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) or Non-Keralite Category II (NK II). To prove the domicile, the candidates will be required to submit certain documents.

So only a keralite or the one having domcile certificate of kerala can only participate in keam .
