Hi Team, Just wanted to know about academic consideration in TISS. Are they look at our 10th and 12 the score apart from graduation score?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 4th Oct, 2018
Hello Aspurant,

Admission in TISS requires ,the candidate must hold a Second-Class Master's or equivalent degree in a relevant subject awarded by a recognized university in India or abroad, with at least an average of 55 per cent of aggregate marks, or a grade point average of 3.5 under the seven-point scale of the University Grants Commission (UGC). In the case of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the minimum eligibility is an average of 50 per cent of aggregate marks, or a grade point average of 3.05.

I hope this helps.

How to prepare all of the subjects for tissnet??

Sanad Rafeeque 3rd Jul, 2018

Hi shivani,

Preparation Strategy:

  • Mathematics & select areas of English Language Proficiency are concept driven and it is suggested that you brush up your fundamentals in these areas to develop the required competence.
  • Logical Reasoning and select areas of English Language Proficiency are practice intensive and it is recommended that you practice across a good number of similar questions to build desired comfort levels.
  • The General Awareness section is environment sensitive and demands you to prepare both current and static components of awareness. Following is a section wise preparation strategy with specific mention of thrust areas in each section.

In case of book, It is difficult to prepare for TISSNET through books because except GK other sections are fairly simple and any book with medium level difficulty should suffice. Preparing from books is time consuming, you need to be choosy if you prefer this way of preparation. Better to refer different websites and trustworthy material for preparation.
