See I am also preparing for MBA exams and based on the details I get from Google and teachers tiss provides ma in different disciplines in which hr is best which is equivalent to mba in hr and is one of the best institute for human resource study along with iim lucknow and xlri whereas if you want to do mba in specialised discipline like finance, information technology then symbosis University is a good option so all the best for your future

For TISSNET application, documents to be self attested is mandatory or not????

MA offered by TISS in development studies offers wide array of subjects covered into Economic and S9cio cultural changes, the program is of 2years and 4semester duration with state of art facilities and Placements.

The syllabus broady covers Urban rural development, Macro Economic Planning, Cultural Changes, Industrialization and Globalization studies, Political And Project planning as major arenas of studies.

The placement are decent with an average number of participation by companies and median slaary as 5.5-6.5 Lakhs.

How is the competition and approx no. Of applicant for tissnet (tiss mumbai?) I am with engineering back ground should I give this exam?

Hello,
TISS-Net exam conducted for all courses of TISS attracted total applications in tune of 15-17k in 2013. Now this number doesn't reflect total applications received for a particular course but for all courses (around 20 masters level courses). For individual courses, application no. varies significantly with MA in HRM receiving maximum no. of applications, which should have been around 14-15 thousand (approximation only) in 2013. Also please keep in mind that TISS allows students to apply for maximum of three courses at one time i.e. a student might be applying for HR, Social Work and Health administration all at same time. So if a person is looking to know no. of applicants for a particular course, its best to connect with seniors of that course.
