How can one keep himself motivated through the entire NEET 2020 preparation?

Hello NEET Aspirants!

NEET Preparation and getting selected is not an easy task but the things is it is not easy for all. Every pays the best efforts to perform well for the exam.

To keep yourself motivated through the preparation we are here sharing few tips with you.

Keep a sense of motivation afresh in your mind the best thing I would like to suggest is to treat yourself good while you perform well.

Always keep it in mind that all your efforts for your NEET Exam are for yourself and will help you in your career.

Maintain a good health- Take care of your health, it is the biggest necessity to keep Yousef motivated for the exam. Bad health leads you no way close to your goal.

Avoid people who create negative aura, friends or your relatives, if they create a negative energy on your studies then maintain a distance.

Keep on evaluating your performance to boost your confidence and proceed accordingly.

Work on time maintain class schedule, assigned daily task, revision and question practice.

If you maintain your study schedule properly then you will automatically be motivated towards your preparation.

Also keep in touch with your family and let them know you are doing well. This would be a biggest motivation for you.

I joined in cse in btech this year ,please explain how to study the subjects in cse. How to study from first year to crack gate exam(tips)

Hello ,

As you have taken CSE as your engineering subject it is all about coding skills and programing skills so you will need to develop those in you if you don't have.You need to have a good command in programing subjects like python java c and c++.from the first year itself.The core subject in btech starts from 2nd year but then also you can start working from 1st year itself.

For gate preparation you can start from 2nd or 3 rd year itself.You need to take coaching either in an Institute or you can buy online lectures.Its all upto you.you need to be hard working and stay focus about your goal than you can achieve it

How to study for neet preparation

Hi,

Inorder to crack NEET the most necessary is thing is to make a schedule and follow it honestly. Make sure each day you are reading and solving all three subjects- physics,chemistry and biology.Go for good books , for example ABC or hc Verma. Follow one good book and do not go for multiple authors because it might confuse you. Solve as many question papers as possible.If you are in coaching institute follow what your teachers say.

Now it may sound a bit cliche but it works, you need to avoid social media because they distract you a lot. Go for evening walks, or morning walks, eat healthy food and be healthy. Try to wake up early because iIn early morning our brain is most active.

At the end its your hard work that will pay you off.

Some of the important tips for preparing gate exam are as follows:

Select Good Books & Materials for GATE Preparation

Selections of good study materials and books are very important at the initial stages of GATE Preparations.
Reading one or two books are sufficient for each subject. Always give first priority for reading from a book rather than other resources.
You may prepare with an online video lecture, course material, coaching notes, etc.
You can also prepare the books that you have followed during the undergraduate course.

Tips to remember and follow during preparation

Understand the previous year questions pattern
Practice previous year questions during preparation
Try to understand the concepts, practice tests and revise regularly.
Most of the questions in GATE are conceptual & numerical, so you must try to improve your solving ability & time management to score a good rank.

Plan your GATE 2020 Preparation

4 to 8 months preparation plan will be a good idea to crack the GATE exam.
Create the preparation plan daily wise or weekly wise by giving enough time for each subject.
Your plan should include syllabus completion, revision, and practice tests.
It is a good idea to make a timetable and formulate your daily tasks. Once you have set daily, weekly and monthly targets, you will see better results for the same amount of effort.

Follow the plan to complete the syllabus

The first step in the preparation is to start with an easy subject and an important one. Topper's suggestion is, to begin with, mathematics and one basic technical subject.
Read topic by topic to complete the entire subject.
Make a revision note for each topic that should cover all important definition, formulas, differences, etc.
Practice topic wise previous GATE questions after understanding each topic.
Attempt the quizzes/tests for each topic and subject to know your performance.
Clear all your doubts during your preparation.
Discuss your doubts on "Gradeup" and Practice quizzes/tests to compare the performance with others.

I want to prepare for CAT so I need study material

Dear Shubham, CAT is an online examination of 3 hours duration.The questions in the exam will be of MCQ and TITA type totaling 100 questions. MCQ are multiple choice questions, for which candidates get multiple answer choices. Each Question has 3 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark. However Type in the Answer questions are exempted from Negative Marking.

CAT exam paper can be Categorised into 3 parts:

Quantitative Ability
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning

The Verbal Ability section and Reading Comprehension has 34 Questions, Data interpretation-Logical Reasoning section has 32 MCQ questions and Quantitative Ability has 34 MCQ questions totalling up to 100 questions. Each Question has 3 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark.

Quantitative Aptitude covers almost 30% of the CAT question paper. QA can be categorised into Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Advanced Mathematics. Practise chapter by chapter and develop mental calculations. Like practise more of basic summation, subtraction, fractions and tables. Numbers, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest, Ratio, Proportionality, Time-Distance, Time-Work, Mixtures, Averages, Partnership, Permutation and Combinations, Probability, Set Theory, Progression and Series, Line, Angles, Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Polygon, Circles, Ares, Volume, Height and Distance, Coordinate Geometry, Basic Trigonometry are few important topics.

Preparation tips:

Because this section involves mathematics and takes most of your time, your focus should be on solving the problems efficiently in the beginning. Even if it takes time, practise upto perfection. Practise as many questions as you can in the conventional way. As and when you get a grip on the subject, you can go for short cuts. Memorise tables, square roots, cube roots, conversion from percent to fraction, etc. Solve sample papers on Mathematics. In the beginning, do not worry about the time it takes. As you practise, you will get the hang of the subject and it will be easier for you.

In Verbal Ability session, command on your English, Grammar, Vocabulary, Understanding of the given paragraph are of more importance. Reading English NewsPaper will also help you in your preparation.

Preparation tips:

Read articles from time to time. Follow newspapers, magazines, and watch the news channels and browse the internet to keep yourself updated. You will need a lot of reading to help you in the comprehension section. You will need speed to help you in this section and you can achieve that only by thorough practise and reading. Take time to understand the question because most answers are interlinked.

Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning needs to be practised as much as possible. Comparison of data, Data Analysis, taking clues, interpreting missing data, coming to conclusions and making future projections will be covered under this Category. The questions here are interlinked and so if you get one formula correct, cracking the next few questions will be easy. So it's important to memorise and practise formulae. You should cover topics like Data tables, Data Charts, Bar Diagrams, Pie Charts, Graphs, Data Comparison and Analysis.

Preparation tips:

As this is the most tricky section, this needs a lot of practise. Solve as many sample papers as possible to get the hang of the section. Make notes when required. Regular practise can help you understand and solve the questions easily as time goes on.

Almost all books available in the market are very similar in the nature of their content of study material but the important thing is what you make of it.

4.Quantitative Aptitude Quantum CAT by Sarvesh Verma
It is an extensive book for students aspiring to go to IIMs. It has a very simple, lucid and tailor made content revolving around CAT.

5.Quantitative Aptitude for CAT (by Nishit Sinha)
This book by Pearson focuses on in depth understanding of core topics for basic and advanced applications.

Verbal Ability Books For CAT:

1.How to Prepare for Verbal Ability and ReadingComprehension for the CAT(by Arun Sharma andMeenakshi Upadhyay)
This book is good to brush up your verbal and reading comprehension skills. It covers three important topics: reading comprehension, verbal ability and verbal reasoning. It provides sufficient practice and mock papers for self-assessment.

2.Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension For The CAT( by Nishit Sinha)
This book by Pearson provides not only an exhaustive resource for verbal ability. It also includes numerous tests as well as integral problem solving techniques and approaches.

3.Word Power Made Easy (by Norman Lewis)
This is the go-to book to improve your vocabulary. It is not a book to be read but a book to work with daily to enrich your vocabulary.

4.High School Grammar and Composition( by Wren and Martin)
It is a very good book for people who want to improve their grammar skills.

Dear Sudip, CAT is the entrance examination for admission to 20 IIMs and more than 1000 participating Institutions. If you crack CAT and join MBA, you gain exposure and knowledge in various aspects of a business like HR, Operations, Marketing, Strategy,etc. Now specialisation is something you need to select in your 2nd year. You should identify your strengths before choosing a specialisation. We shall detail the scope of a few specific specializations.

Marketing: This needs lot of interacting with Customers, Clients, Partners and Stakeholders. Thw work on a daily basis involves travelling, utilosing the resources to increase the sales. To move to pure marketing you might have to work in sales for initial couple of years.

Hi,

Suceess of cracking GATE will happen only if you prepare well for the examination. First you will need to be familiar with the exam pattern as well as the syllabus structure. Then understand the weightage of each subject and their chapters make a routine to prepare accordingly. Try to study from reference books as well apart from the main books. And finally try to concentrate more on mathematics as it is a very scoring paper. Also revise as much as possible to understand clearly the concepts.

Yes you can prepare for JEE and kcet both at the same time first of all for that you have to know about the syllabus of both this examination go through the syllables .

The syllabus of this is a both entrance exam are almost same so you can the prepared these two and the same time before focused and determined during your preparation work hard solve previous year questions paper and practice a lot.. have some good books with you and go deeply with those book ,clear your Basic concept....
