Cutoff
Hello Akhtar
The cutoff percentile for special round in MBM Engineering college varies by branch and category. For CSE branch, it is around 85-90 percentile while for Core branches like Civil, Mechanical, Mining etc it is around 70-75 percentile for the general category.
Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!
No separate percentile target for special round you simply need to meet or slightly exceed these historical cutoffs to be competitive, especially if a seat becomes vacant in that branch. If your percentile meets or exceeds these benchmarks, you may have a strong chance during the spot round as long as you attend on time with all required documentation.

Focus on institutes with AICTE approval and active placement cells. Visit campuses if possible vibe and networking matter in MBA. Don’t forget to check hostel availability if you’re from outstation.
Thanks for asking, and best of luck for your MBA journey!
Hi Zeeshan, Your DCET rank is 7500 and the cutoffs for the colleges you applied to are below your rank, so that’s why you didn’t get a seat in the 1st round.
Yes, there is still a chance to get a seat in the 2nd round if the cutoff goes higher. Cutoffs may increase if some students don’t confirm their seats.
Also, yes, you can add or change colleges in the 3rd round during option entry. So, keep checking the official website and choose colleges with higher cutoffs than your rank for better chances.
Hope it helps!
