Hello Pragya,

Since JEE Mains 2024 (23rd Jan Shift 1) was considered tough, your percentile will depend on the overall difficulty level and how others performed.

For 116 marks , based on previous trends:

  • If the paper was tough , you may get around 90-93 percentile .
  • If the paper was moderate , you may get 88-91 percentile .

Your final percentile will be based on normalization and the official NTA results.

How can I correct my name in neet form application 2025 form filling where mistake happened during the registration step where I typed my name based on adhaar form rather than tenth certificate

Tanya Gupta 9th Feb, 2025

If you made a mistake in your name while filling out the NEET 2025 application, don’t worry—you can correct it during the NEET correction window. The National Testing Agency (NTA) usually provides a specified period for applicants to make corrections. When the correction window opens, log in to the NEET portal using your credentials, navigate to the correction section, and update your name as per your 10th certificate.

which colleges I can get admission fir 96 marks in jee maind jan 2025 examination

kumardurgesh1802 9th Feb, 2025

Hello Raghav,

With 96 marks in JEE Mains 2025 , your percentile is likely between 85-90 (approximate). Based on this, you can expect admission in the following colleges:

1. State Government Colleges (Through State Counseling)

  • MP: IET-DAVV, UIT-RGPV, SGSITS (Some branches)
  • Rajasthan: MBM Jodhpur, RTU Kota
  • UP: KNIT Sultanpur, IET Lucknow
  • Maharashtra: VJTI, COEP (Only if MHT CET is accepted)

    2. Private Colleges (Through JEE Mains Counseling or Direct Admission)

  • SRM University (Some campuses)
  • Shiv Nadar University
  • LNCT Bhopal
  • Amity University
  • UPES Dehradun

For NITs/IIITs , chances are low unless you have state quota or category reservation . Consider state counseling and private universities for better options.

Sir my state obc caste certificate has my father middle name but it isnt not present in my other documents like voter id aadhar and marksheet.. I have to make central obc ncl certificate for neet form so should I add his middle name in that?

Prachi Kumari 10th Feb, 2025

Hello,

Your documents should ideally have the same name format to avoid discrepancies.

Since your Aadhaar, Voter ID, and mark sheet do not have your father’s middle name, it is better to maintain uniformity.

To solve this, you can visit your local tehsil or caste certificate issuing office to confirm the correct format. If required, you can submit an affidavit stating both name variations belong to the same person.

Hope you find it useful !

If I get my aadhar card photo updated, until when can I do that? I mean can i get it updated up until May or do I need to get it updated until form filling of neet ug 2025 continues? So I need help to verify if its okay if my aadhar card photo isnt updated during registration?

Prachi Kumari 9th Feb, 2025

Hello Minakshi,

The National Testing Agency (NTA) advises NEET UG 2025 aspirants to update their Aadhaar details before the registration process begins.

This includes ensuring that your photograph, name, and date of birth in your Aadhaar match your Class 10 mark sheet. An updated Aadhaar facilitates smoother verification and registration. If your Aadhaar photo isn't updated during registration, it may lead to verification issues.

Therefore, it's recommended to update your Aadhaar details promptly, preferably before the NEET UG 2025 registration starts, to avoid potential complications.

Hope you find it useful !

I am still confused about Qualification Code for NEET 25. I passed Class 12 from CBSE in 2023.At present I have taken admission in B.Sc Ist year but not appeared in first Semester Exam of first year. So which Code I should fill in NEET application of 2025. At the time of counselling my B.Sc College TC will be submitted. Please help me decide.

kumardurgesh1802 8th Feb, 2025

Hello Satakshi,

Since you passed Class 12 in 2023 and are currently in the first year of B.Sc but have not appeared for the first-semester exam , you should select Qualification Code 02 in the NEET 2025 application form.

Reasoning:

  • Code 02 applies to students who have completed Class 12 with PCB but have not completed a Bachelor's degree or appeared for university exams.

  • Code 05 or 06 is for those who have completed at least one year of B.Sc with subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and have appeared for exams.

  • Since you haven’t given any semester exams yet, you are still considered a 12th-passed candidate , so Code 02 is correct .

During counseling , you will submit your 12th certificate and Transfer Certificate (TC) from your B.Sc college.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

I passed Class 12 from CBSE but later improved 4 subjects via NIOS, so I have 2 marksheets. Will NITs, IIITs (JoSAA) & private colleges (VIT, MHT CET, WBJEE) accept them? How should I fill JEE form to avoid issues? Any proof or past cases? Please Help

Tanya Gupta 9th Feb, 2025

Hello,

Yes, NITs, IIITs (JoSAA), and private colleges (VIT, MHT CET, WBJEE) generally accept NIOS improvement marksheets if they meet the eligibility criteria. While filling the JEE form, enter details from the latest marksheet (NIOS improved subjects) to avoid confusion. Past cases show students with NIOS improvement getting admission. However, check specific college policies, as some may have restrictions on improvement exams from open boards.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you
