Sir, I am getting marks of 134 in first sesson of JEE 2025. My exam was on 29 Jan (Second Shift). what is the expected percentile and rank.

kumardurgesh1802 7th Feb, 2025

Hello there,

With 134 marks in the JEE Main 2025 (29th Jan, Shift 2) , your expected percentile would be around 94-96%ile .

Expected Rank Calculation:

  • The total number of candidates appearing for JEE Main is around 10-11 lakh .
  • Using the formula:

    Rank = [(100 - Percentile) / 100] × Total Candidates

For 95 percentile , your expected rank would be around 50,000 - 55,000 .
If your percentile is 94 , your rank may go up to 60,000 - 65,000 .

Chances for NITs:

  • NITs (Core branches like CSE, ECE, EE, ME, etc.) may be difficult in top NITs.
  • You may get lower NITs or branches like Civil, Metallurgy, etc.
  • If you belong to OBC/EWS/SC/ST , your chances improve significantly.

I would recommend you to use JEE Mains College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Can I As a dropper have different signatures on the NEET REGISTRATION FORM?I had a different sign in the first attempt and a different one now. Is it okay?

Mitali Sharma 7th Feb, 2025

Hello

Having different signatures on your NEET registration forms for different attempts can cause issues during document verification or at the examination center.

It’s important that your signature matches across all official documents, including your registration form, admit card and ID proof.

If your signature has changed, it's advisable to:

1. Contact NEET authorities through their helpline or official email to explain the situation.

2. Use the same signature you used in your first attempt, if possible to avoid complications.

3. Carry an affidavit stating the reason for the signature change if you have legally updated your signature, though this might not be necessary unless specified.

It's always better to clarify with official sources to avoid disqualification or issues during verification.

hope this helps you .

As an SC PWD category student I am scoring 71 marks in jee mains exam in Jan 22, session 1 shift 1 2025 how much percentile can I expect?

Prachi Kumari 7th Feb, 2025

Hello,

Based on your score of 71 marks in the JEE Main examination held on January 22, 2025 (Session 1, Shift 1), and considering previous years' data, your estimated percentile is approximately 87 to 89 .

As a candidate belonging to the SC-PwD category, this percentile places you in a favorable position. Historically, the qualifying cutoff percentile for the SC category has been around 60.09 .

Given your score, you are likely to meet the qualifying criteria for JEE Advanced and may have a good chance of securing admission into various NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, depending on the specific cutoffs for your category and the courses you are interested in.

You can also use the JEE Mains Rank Predictor tool to predict your rank based on your score.

Hope it helps !

I attempted the jee main b arch paper 2025. I had completed the drawing part and submitted the sheet with all the details filled in. However by mistake, I overlooked the "mark as answered" button on screen and forgot to click it. I mailed the authorities, no response received. Will it be evaluated?

kumardurgesh1802 7th Feb, 2025

Hello there,

Yes, your drawing section in the JEE Main B.Arch paper should still be evaluated as long as you submitted the physical drawing sheet with all details correctly filled in.

The "Mark as Answered" button is mainly for online responses (MCQs and numerical questions). Since the drawing section is manually evaluated by examiners, not clicking that button should not affect evaluation if your sheet was submitted properly.

Since you've already mailed the authorities, wait for their response. If needed, you can also contact NTA helpline for clarification. Keep checking the official JEE website for updates. Don't worry, your sheet is likely to be evaluated.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

I gave jee mains 2025 on 23 shift 1, people are saying it was difficult. so what my expected percentile be at 28-30 marks

Based on previous trends, scoring 28-30 marks in JEE Main typically results in a percentile of around 65-70. However, the exact percentile can vary depending on the difficulty of the exam. For tougher sessions, such as the one you experienced, your percentile might be slightly higher. You can use tools like the JEE Main Percentile Calculator for a more accurate estimate.

With the change in exam pattern in NEET, have the Botany and Zoology sections been combined to form one biology section of 90 questions? Or are they still separate?

Afreen 16th Mar, 2025

According to the latest NEET exam pattern , the Botany and Zoology sections are still separate within the Biology section, but combined to form a total of 90 questions in the Biology section, with 45 questions each from Botany and Zoology. l

Although considered one "Biology" section, the NEET exam still presents questions distinctly categorized as Botany and Zoology.

Both Botany and Zoology usually have an equal number of questions (45 each) within the Biology section.

The current NEET exam pattern maintains this structure with separate Botany and Zoology sections within the Biology subject.

If my biometric data in aadhar is not updated, can I apply for jee mains 2025 or if I have put my biometric data under update and then apply for jee

Devraj Student Expert 6th Feb, 2025

Hi,

If your biometric data in aadhar card  is not updated then it will create problem for you during your exam time because without biometric verification no one is allowed to appear for JEE MAINS exam. Inorder to avoid any problem during online exam you have to first update your biometric data of aadhar at priority basis and then apply for JEE MAINS exams.

Hope this information will help you
