Is M.Tech integrated software engineering student eligible to write AP LAWCET?

Erica 23rd May, 2019

Hello Sowmya,

For a 3 year law program, a candidate needs to have a graduation degree in from any recognized university with at least 45% of the aggregate marks or any other examination recognised as equivalent by the university. If any candidate secures less than 45% marks in graduation, then he/she should have passed any additional graduate or postgraduate degree with 45% aggregate marks. On the other hand, for a 5 year law program,Candidates seeking admission into five-year integrated law programme need to have a qualifying degree of two-year Intermediate examination with 45% of the aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education. As far as age criteria is concerned then there is no age bar for both the law programs. If you clear the eligibility criteria of the program of your choice then you can sucessfully wriye AP LAWCET exam. Good Luck!

What is last years cut off for ba in psychology? And what is the eligibility criteria? I want to puruse from abasaheb garware or modern col

Raashi Kohli 23rd May, 2019
Hi, the cutoffs for ba Psychology differs from college to college. Some colleges take I'm admissions directly on the basis of merit of the qualifying exam that is 12th boards while some colleges require you to appear for entrance exams and take in admissions based on your performance on the entrance test and sometimes personal interview as well.
In order to pursue B.A in psychology you can be from any of the three streams(science, arts or commerce) and you should have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% -55% marks with Psychology being one of the subjects in +2.
MES Garware takes in admissions based on merit for ba in psychology. You should have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and it also offers 5% relaxation to all SC/ST candidates. There's no cutoff require for modern college, you just have to pass 10+2 with English as a medium of language. The admission is based on Merit.
Some other colleges in Pune are:
  • Fergusson college
  • St. Mira's college for girls
  • Symbiosis college of arts and commerce
  • Abeda inamdar senior college
  • Dr. D.Y. Patil arts, science and commerce college
  • Nowrosjee wadia college
  • Vishwakarma University

    • Good luck

What is last years cut off for ba in psychology? And what is the eligibility criteria?

Roma Kaur 30th May, 2019

Hello Aspirant

The cut off lists for the courses available in Delhi university has not come out yet. We can provide you with a rough estimate of the cut offs.

BA in Pscyhology falls under the department of Psychology (Humanities and Social Sciences). Delhi University is particularly famous for its humanities and social sciences courses and thus a huge number of applications are submitted everywhere. Most of the colleges within the university follow the merit of a student (based on the cut-off lists).

To make the understanding of the cut off easy, I have divided the colleges among 3 categories.

TIER 1 Colleges

·         Lady Shree Ram College

·         Gargi College

·         Jesus and Marys College

·         IP College for Women

Approximate Cut off Percentage: 96–97%

TIER 2 Colleges

·         Kamla Nehru College

·         Keshav Mahavidyalaya

·         Daulat Ram College

·         Zakir Hussain College

Approximate Cut off Percentage: 94–95%

TIER 3 Colleges

·         Vivekananda College

·         Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College

·         BR Ambedkar

·         Mata Sundari

·         Aryabhatta College

Approximate Cut off Percentage: 91–93%

As you can see, the percentage required is quite high for the University of Delhi. Also, most of the colleges in the tier 3 category do not have good extra-curricular activities.

Most of the colleges allow all the +2 students to apply for the course whereas some might prefer that you are from a humanities background and some might have an entrance test.

Few Other colleges could be :

·         Ambedkar University, New Delhi

·         Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi

·         Christ University, Bangalore

·         Sophia College for Women

·         Jai Hind College

I hope that my answer helps you.

Best of luck!

Hello sir , I am b.sc student and now I have given pgat for m.a in Hindi and I got 96 marks in chemistry and 92 in zoology .am I eligible?

Ritika Sharma 30th Jun, 2019
Hi,

Yes, you can apply for M.A Hindi in Allahbad University. Since you're a non-subject candidate you must have an aggregate of 60% and above at your graduation level. Also, your final selection depends on your scores in the concerned exam.

Hope this helps, good luck!
