what is exam pattern of MET 2020?

Hello Aspirant,

MET is a Computer Based exam. It consists of 200 multiple choice questions, 50- Physics, 50- Chemistry, 70- Mathematics and 30 questions of English and General Aptitude. The exam is of total 2.5 hours. For every correct answer 4 marks are rewarded and for every wrong answer 1 mark is deducted.

PGQP30 in CUCET is for MSc Material Science and Technology, offered by CUJAM.

Entrance test  consists of Part A with 25 questions from
English, General Knowledge and Numerical Ability

and Part B with 75 questions from the respective subject.

PGQP38 in CUCET is for MBA/MTTM/MHMCT.

Entrance test for consists of 100 Questions  from the following sections;

English/Verbal Ability : Reading comprehension,  verbal reasoning, syllogisms, analogies, antonyms and  synonyms, fill in  the blanks, sentence correction, idioms, etc.

Maths/Quantitative  Ability : Number  systems,  geometry, trigonometry, probability, permutation combination,  algebra,  mensuration,  time and  work, averages, percentages, profit and  loss, quadratic and linear equations, etc.

Data Interpretation :  Interpretation and  analysis of data based  on text, tables, graphs  (line, area), charts  (column, bar, pie),  venn diagram,  etc.

Logical Reasoning : Clocks, calendars,  binary logic, seating arrangement,  blood relations,  logical sequence,  assumption, premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, etc.

As per your question the examination pattren:

The question paper might be in languages English & Hindi.

The Examination could be commenced with papers and each could be for 100 marks.

Paper-I (General Aptitude Test. The check is aimed to assess the overall and studies in addition to their

awareness)

Paper-II (the respective challenge of the applicants)

Both the papers will have one hundred MCQ type questions to be solved and replied on separate OMR

sheet

The time length to solve each the papers will be 2 hours.

General Aptitude Test Paper:

Research Aptitude (Research: Meaning, characteristics, types, steps, methods, ethics; Paper, article,

workshop, seminar, conference, and symposium; Thesis writing its traits and format)

Venn diagram; Analytical Reasoning.

Data Interpretation: Sources, acquisition and interpretation of data; Quantitative and qualitative data;

Information and Communication Technology (ICT): ICT: meaning, advantages, disadvantages, and uses;

General abbreviations and terminology; Basics of internet and email.

People and Environment: People and surroundings interaction; Sources of Pollution, Pollutants and their

  • Online Computer based paper
  • 100 questions within 3 hours
  • Applicable Negative marking
  • You may expect Objective and Subjective questions

Hello Beniwal!
To pass the Entrance Test conducted for M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication course offered by Panjab University, you will have to obtain at least 40% of the total marks.

Here, 60% weightage is given to your Entrance Test marks and 40% weightage is given to your graduation percentage.

To be eligible to sit for the entrance test , you must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks in the aggregate.

The test will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes duration and comprise of Objective (MCQ) and Subjective (descriptive) Type questions for 65 marks out of the total of 75 marks.
The 10 marks remaining would be equally divided between Group Discussion and Personal Interview to be held after the entrance test.
The test will include the following five components :-
1. Article writing on current events.
2. Precis Writing.
3. Feature, writing on personalities, reviews etc.
4. Current Affairs and General Knowledge.
5. Interpretative passage.

To be eligible to appear in GD and PI, you will have to pass the entrance test and then submit a fresh application to the School of Communication Studies OF PU.

Can a tell me about the syllabus and exam pattern for npat (undergraduate)?

Hi Puneet,

NPAT 2020 exam pattern and syllabus is prescribed by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies(NMIMS).

The exam will be of 100 minutes and consists of three sections. The candidate will have to answer 40 questions in each section, there will be total of 120 questions

The exam will be conducted in CBT(Computer Based Test) mode.
