Eligibility:


For B.A (Hons/Prog)  and B.Com. (Hons/Prog):

Cleared the +2 Intermediate Examination of A.P. or +2 Examinations recognized as equivalent.

The application form is still not out and as you know that because of the pandemic everything is being postponed so keep yourself updated with their official Website.

What is the CAT exam pattern ?

Hello aspirant, hope you are doing well!

CAT ( Common admission test) is a very reputed entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for admissions into various colleges for MBA. The duration of the exam is 3 hours for all the categories and 4 hours for the PwD category. The sectional duration for each section is 60 minutes each whereas it is 80 minutes for the candidates of the PwD category.

The total number of questions asked in the entrance exam are 100. It is a computer based examination.

Candidates lose 1 mark for each incorrect answer and gain 3 marks for every correct answer. No marks are deducted for the questions which the candidate didn't attempt.

The examination consists of 3 sections namely - Quantitative ability , Data interpretation & logical reasoning and Verbal ability and reading comprehension. These sections consists of 34,32 and 34 questions each respectively.

The candidates are not allowed to switch between the sections. He/she can move to the next section only after attempting the previous section which he/she was completing. Though, the candidates are allowed to switch between questions within the same section.

These were some of the main points to be kept in mind for the CAT exam.

aiims mbbs exam pattern and syllabus

Dear Aspirant,

Since 2020, AIIMS exam has been scrapped. Now admission into AIIMS-UG courses in through NEET Exam. NEET is a +2 level exam of Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 180, 180 and 360 marks respectively. You can read more about it at the links below:

Whats the exam pattern for MA political science in DUET? and what courses DU offers for PG in Political science?

DUET exam for MA in Political Science exam will be conducted online where you will get 100 questions in MCQ form and you will get 120 minutes to solve the paper.Each question carries 4 marks.

Hello,

First of all, BHU conducts PET for admission to MSc Physics/MSc(Tech) Geophysics which is conducted for a duration of 120 minutes duration carrying 360 marks with MCQs based on graduate level of the concerned subject. However for M. Sc. (Tech.), Geophysics the questions will be from Physics and Mathematics (in equal proportions) of graduate level.

Syllabus for MSc Forensic Science in BHU;-

Entrance test is conductd for a duration of 120 minutes for 360 marks in MCQs format  comprising two sections,namely
Section A with 60 MCQs from General Sciences at 10+2 level to test the knowledge of the candidates in fundamentals and 20 MCQs of general nature to test their analytical ability, reasoning and logical skills. And Section B which have four sub-sections namely, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics with 40 MCQs of graduate level in each section. The candidate has to select only one of the four sub-section of Section B for answering questions.

Coming to MSc Physics Syllabus for JNU, it consists of topics such as Mathematical Methods,Mechanics and General Properties of Matter,Oscillations, Waves and Optics,Electromagnetism,Thermal and Statistical Physics,Solid State Physics, Devices and Electronics,Modern Physics:

Im still not clear about the jee main paper 2 exam pattern. some sites say it is 1) Maths - 30 questions ,4 marks each ,total 120 marks. Aptitude - 50 questions, 4 marks each, 200 marks in total. Drawing - 3 questions , 20 + 20 + 30 in total 70 marks. but what is the real pattern actually !?!

Hi Nikita,

The JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Pattern is as follows:-

  • Total = 400 marks
  • Mathematics – Part I - 25 questions (20 MCQs and 5 numerical questions) - 4 marks each
  • Aptitude Test – Part II - 50 questions (50 MCQs) - 4 marks each
  • Drawing Test – Part III - 2 questions - 50 marks each

Marking Scheme:-

  • For MCQs - 4 Marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 Mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • For answer with numeric value - 4 Marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 0 Mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • For Drawing questions - Two questions to be evaluated out of 100 marks.
