Planning to take BBA LLB as my degree & prepare for UPSC alongside. But I was told to take BTech as it had more job opportunities & "better backup" & gave me more time for UPSC prep. But Im not that interested in Btech but Id go if I had to. Which has more hectic schedules BBA LLB/BTech(both pvt)

Sakshi Singh 30th Jul, 2022

Hello,

Both the courses BA LLB and B. Tech. are top most courses and are best option for UPSC. Although B. Tech. will have more hectic schedule as it involves practical classes also, on the other hand BA LLB is more of theory. BA LLB will give specializations in the field of law and governance so candidates can expect some sort of overlapping in UPSC syllabus, but B. Tech. subjects are altogether different. B. Tech tends to build a rationale and logical thinking among candidates.

In past few years the number of engineers qualifying the exam has increased.

For better understanding and reports you can see UPSC's annual report where you can know the number of candidates qualifying exam with a particular subject.

Hope it helps.

i am a student of bcom last year i recently passed my tally course so please suggest me some job option with job area with high salary like 30 to 40 thousand per month

Arhana Chakraborty 30th Jul, 2022

After BCOM course you are mostly eligible for the Accountant related job roles. Now as you have learned the Tally course, it would add some benefit in getting a job role of accountant. The payment of accountant in the starting isn't that good. If you are in Metropoliton cities, then also you can expect salaries ranging from Rs. 20k to 25k at starting. With, gaining experience you can always switch the companies and that way you can increase your salary. So getting a job with a salary of Rs. 30k to 40k at starting, isn't at all possible in general. Now if you can get such a job, then its your luck. You should keep checking regularly for the jobs in the top websites such as Naukri for the job options and apply for them.

i have completed btech in 7 years insted of 4 years. Can i get software job in any company.

Arhana Chakraborty 30th Jul, 2022

See in most of the IT companies, there are usually strict restrictions regarding the Gap year. Now you don't have a gap year, instead it required you much longer to clear all the necessary examination. So you will be eligible for most of the companies. Now if you have a good coding skill & communication skills then it would be easier for you to get a software job in any company. Although, during the selection process, they will ask regarding the delay & you should make a good answer about it. The more convincing a answer you can provide them regarding your delay in passing the BTech course, the more probability will be for you to get a job.
