how can I master jee maths I am not good in maths I have only about 10 % preparation of jee maths

Mayank Chowdhary 23rd Feb, 2020

Hi parth!! Hope you are doing well!! Maths is one of the most important subject in jee. It's all about techniques and calculations in jee maths. If you are not good at it, I would ask you to start solving problems on the daily basis. Take each chapter day by day, pick up a good question bank Book and read it's formulas and theory from ncert or R.D Sharma and then start solving it. If you face any problem in any type of question, mark it and get it clarified by your teacher. Maths is a subject which can only be mastered if you solve it regularly and in a proper way. If do all these steps sincerely ,your jee maths will go easy on you for sure.

Hope it helps. All the very best for future.

what are the books you would suggest for me to prepare for jee main and jee advanced in the without coaching preparation and which is more effective and give me a study plan

Prakarsh Kaushik 23rd Feb, 2020

Hello,

As I have gone through this journey of preparing for JEE Mains & Advance without Coaching Preparation, I can help you make this tough journey a little comfortable.

Starting with Chemistry

  • NCERT (Class 11th & 12th) - These book are the most important for concept building. If your concepts are clear then you will have no problem in solving questions of any type. Many time questions are directly asked in JEE Mains as well as Advance from NCERT.
  • RC Mukherjee - Best book for solving and practicing numericals
  • OP Tandon - For Inorganic
  • Previous Year Paper of JEE Mains & Advance

For Maths

  • NCERT (11th-12th) - Just like chemistry , NCERT is again a life-saver for Mathematics. It will clear all your concepts & make you ready for tough questions.
  • RD Sharma - For practicing MCQs
  • Hall & Knight - Best book for mastering Algebra
  • SL Loney - For Co-ordinate Geometry
  • KC Sinha - Calculus
  • Previous Year Paper of JEE Mains & Advance

For Physics

  • HC Verma - No other book is better than practicing numericals than this.
  • Resnick Halliday - Its a great book for problem solving, some questions in it are beyond JEE level
  • Problems in General Physics by IE Irodov - The most tough book in Physics, you can expect good marks in Physics if you solve this book sincerely .
  • Mechanics Part 1 & 2 by D.C Panday - Its great book for concept clearing

It goes without saying that one must also attempt previous years’ question papers (say last 15 years) in a time bounded situation to get a feel of the exam. Don’t forget to make short notes. These are of immense help when you need to revise a vast syllabus in a short span of time.

You can also take help from our B.tech Companion  which provides Full-Length JEE Main Mock Tests, 15+ College Predictors and many more things by clicking at this link - https://dqxeclau.top/btech-companion?ici=companion-navigation-header_btech-companion&icn=btech-companion

Hope this was helpful.

lubhan cherwoo 21st Feb, 2020

Hi,
Clearing JEE mains is not a very difficult task if you have consistency in your subject learning and practice, you would be already preparing for 12th board exam, thus you need a little more practice in multiple choice questions that are objective part of the syllabus which are not generally taught in schools for best results you should join coaching classes like Allen, Akash or helix if you are interested in Engineering or medical field

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 23rd Feb, 2020

Vartika, even though you are preparing for NEET 2021, to be able to secure a seat in a Government Medical College, under General Category, you will need atleast 550 and above. For that score, any time seems less. So with all other things sorted, you should start preparing for NEET. I want to preparation verbal ability (English) for mnc like TCS Capgemini Wipro and etc.plz sagest me where I can from start? nd what is the syllabus??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Feb, 2020
There is no syllabus per se. You can read few books to improve your Verbal Ability.

Word Power Made Easy (by Norman Lewis)
This is the go-to book to improve your vocabulary. It is not a book to be read but a book to work with daily to enrich your vocabulary.

High School Grammar and Composition( by Wren and Martin)
It is a very good book for people who want to improve their grammar skills. It helps to understand and conceptualise different aspects of grammar and it is a must have book for anyone with poor grasp on verbal ability or who wants to make up with the basics of english.

Read books from different genres
The ultimate key to improve your verbal ability is to read extensively and to read books from different genres. This ensures that when the time for reading comprehension comes you are well acquainted with different writing styles and topics. Reading extensively also improves your reading speeding over a period of time.
