Sarthak Dhiman 9th Mar, 2020

Hello Aspirant.

Yes, it's ok to rely on JEE main preparation to crack the AP EAMCET examination as the syllabus for the examination are almost the same. This means that the type of questions that'll appear in both these examinations would be of same type, there wouldn't be much difference between them.

Best of luck !

Is there a difference in JEE Main & JEE Advanced Preparation?

Vaishali Prakash 9th Mar, 2020

Yes there is a quite big difference between preparations of jee mains & jee advanced that is in jee mains the duration of exam is only for 3 hours which everyone knows contains 360 marks. And the syllabus isn't much difficult because the entire syllabus is as same as we studied in class 12 so it become easy for us to cover the syllabus. There are also some easy chapters in chemistry, mathematics so that we can score good marks.

While in jee advanced exam, it become difficult to score good marks easily that the duration of exam is 6 hours and there are two exams take place in a single day. This become difficult because you have to concentrate on both the exams equally, at least you need 6 or 7 hours per day for studying to get good marks. Nobody knows which type of format or pattern is about to come either there will be multiple choice questions, subjective type questions, match the following or comprehension type etc. Every year the level of difficulty of jee advanced paper increase so you have to do more smart work instead of hard work.

I have not started my JEE Preparation till now. Can I crack the exam? Should I take a drop?

Manisha Gupta 9th Mar, 2020
It is never too late to prepare for JEE Main examination. Anyone can have a good chance to crack the exam even with last few months of JEE Main preparation if the he/she is determined to work really hard. The last week has to be very busy with constant studying, revision and solving sample papers and mock tests. If the candidates work hard and study all of the required material, then they will be able to crack the JEE Main exam.

Is taking a drop year preparation successful for me?I was getting 70 percentile in April attempt 2020 .And Im from general category.

Rohan Goyal 8th Mar, 2020

Hi Anupama,

Taking a drop and preparing for JEE can be good and cannot be. It depends upon the student that how he/she can prepare and whether will he/she be able to succeed in taking admission in any IIT or NIT with good percentile next year. If you think that you can bring percentile more than 93 that is approximately 94 to 95 then you must drop this year otherwise if you think that I will not be able to do then best thing is that you may take in any good private college or you can take the admissions in the state board government colleges. Best engineer and getting no college for which you are dropping then you must take admission now only.

I hope your question has been answered properly.

All the best for your future!
