Rank
Good afternoon,
According to the previous years trends the mbbs seat with 321 score in neet is not possible in government and semi government college you will surely get bds in some semi government college . If you can go for private college then you will surely get mbbs bams bhms bds.
Hey there
At this rank, getting MBBS in top-tier government medical colleges is difficult through All India Quota (AIQ) for EWS.
You may get a seat in lower cutoff states (like Bihar, Rajasthan, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Tripura, etc.) under 85% state quota, depending on your state.
In some private/deemed universities, EWS students may get MBBS via state quota or management quota.
With an SC category rank of 1,10,000 in Rajasthan, getting an MBBS seat in a government medical college in NEET 2025 is very unlikely. In 2024, the SC category closing rank for MBBS in Rajasthan government colleges was around 97,000 for females and about 95,000 for males. Since your rank is beyond these, your chances in the regular state quota rounds are very low.
However, you can still explore options like applying for management or NRI quota seats in private medical colleges, considering AYUSH courses like BAMS or BHMS, or preparing again for NEET 2026 to improve your score.
If you have scored 513 marks in NEET, your expected All India Rank would be approximately between 58,000 to 68,000, based on previous year trends.
With a CRL rank of 3,46,141 and EWS rank 48,597 in JEE Mains, your chances of getting a seat in an NIT through JoSAA counselling are very low, especially in core branches like CSE, ECE, or Mechanical, even in the lower ranked NITs.
In most NITs, EWS closing ranks for general category students from Home State quota are usually within 20,000 to 30,000 (EWS rank). So at 48,597 EWS rank, it’s unlikely to get a seat in the regular JoSAA rounds.
However, you still have options:
You can try for spot rounds or vacant seat rounds if held later (CSAB Special Rounds), where cutoffs go slightly lower You can also look at private engineering colleges or state-level counselling in Bihar like BCECE If you’re open to other branches or lesser known colleges, or wish to try again next year with better preparation, that’s a good plan too
Dear student,
For MBBS admissions under the OBC-NCL category, recent NEET data shows that the All India Quota (15%) closing ranks usually fall between 20,000 and 25,000 . In 2024 , the last round for OBC candidates closed around 25,212 , with a NEET score of 652 . In 2023 , the final closing rank was close to 23,675 , with a score of 610 .
Under the state quota , ranks vary more depending on the college. In Karnataka , top government colleges like Bangalore Medical College had OBC closing ranks around 2,700 , while others like Gulbarga and Kodagu closed above 12,000 . In Uttar Pradesh , OBC seats under AIQ closed near 23,800 in 2024 with scores around 654 .
The qualifying percentile for OBC-NCL is generally the 40th percentile , with cutoff scores ranging from 107 (in 2023) to 163 (in 2024) , depending on the year’s difficulty level.
Overall, OBC-NCL candidates with ranks up to 25,000 in AIQ or higher ranks under state quota usually have good chances at government MBBS seats, depending on their state and college preferences.
Hello,
Yes, with a JAM rank of 1427 in the general category, you have a fair chance of getting M.Sc. Chemistry at IIEST Shibpur.
In previous years, the closing rank for general category in M.Sc. Chemistry at IIEST Shibpur has gone around 1300 to 1400 in the last rounds. Since your rank is 1427, you are very close and may get a seat in the later rounds.
Make sure to:
Fill IIEST Shibpur as a higher choice while applying.
Take part in all rounds of counselling.
Keep some backup options too.
So, overall, your chances are good, especially in the later rounds.
Hope it helps !
Dear Candidate,
The College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG) and Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), Chennai admit students primarily through the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) process based on 10+2 marks. These institutions do not participate in CGPET (Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test) for admission.
Important Points:
CGPET is conducted for admission to engineering colleges within the state of Chhattisgarh.
Anna University-affiliated colleges such as CEG and MIT do not accept CGPET scores.
Admission for out-of-state candidates into these Tamil Nadu institutions is done only through TNEA based on the normalized Class 12th scores.
Recommendation:
If you are a CGPET aspirant, you should look into engineering colleges in Chhattisgarh like:
Bhilai Institute of Technology
Government Engineering College, Raipur
Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology
Please verify the specific admission procedures and cut-off ranks for these colleges via CG Vyapam or official counselling portals.
Best wishes for your academic journey!
hey, Having a CLAT rank of 21,000 and an SC category rank of approximately 1,000, you may get a good chance by applying to NLUs in which SC category seats remain unfilled. At this rank extend, there are routinely open positions at state NLUs or more current NLUs with reserved seats SC candidates. Focus on appying to NLUs such as NLU Jodhpur, NLU Odisha or NLU Tamil Nadu, which occasionally have vacancies in saved categories. As well, monitor the CLAT guiding entry in terms of opening overhauls and participate in spot rounds properly.
