I gave neet 2025 and score 509 and 42k rank . This is my 3rd drop . Now I have to choose any course , so which is good for me in BAMS or BVsc . Which has more carrier scopes in future and good salary .

Nikita shahi 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello aspirant,

With 509 marks and 42k rank, you are in a decent position:

  • You can definitely get BDS in government colleges.
  • For MBBS, chances are good in semi-government/low-fee private colleges under state quota (especially if you belong to OBC/SC/ST).
  • For BAMS, BHMS, or other AYUSH courses, you can easily get a government seat.

Since this is your 3rd drop, the practical choice is to go with state counselling.

hii sir my rank is 167456 can engineering seat is get

sadafreen356 4th Aug, 2025

With a JEE Main rank of 167456, securing a seat in a top-tier engineering college like an IIT or a top NIT is unlikely. However, it's possible to get admitted to other NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs, potentially in less popular branches or locations. There are also numerous private engineering colleges that accept students with ranks in this range.

If you're not interested in EAMCET or NEET after completing your BIPC exams, you have several alternative career options. Consider pursuing B.Sc. in various specializations, nursing, pharmacy, or alternative medicine fields like BAMS or BHMS. You can also explore careers in psychology, mass communication, hotel management, digital marketing, or other creative industries. It’s a good idea to consult a career counselor to help guide your decision based on your interests and strengths. There are many paths to choose from, so take time to research and explore.

I have an OBC NCL certificate but my salary has increased this yearband my average income for 3 years has exceeded 8 lakh/ annum.my don is appearing for JEE under OBC category ? Do you think he will face issues with eligibility later?

Ashita Singh 24th Sep, 2024

Hi Avanish,

Yes, there can be an issue regarding the OBC (NCL) eligibility. As per the guidelines, to qualify for the OBC-NCL category, the family's annual income should be below RS 8 lakh per year. If your average income for the past three years exceeds RS 8 lakh, your family may fall into the "upper layer or creamy layer" category, which would not allow your son from applying under the OBC-NCL category.

However, if your salary increase is recent and the average of the past three years still remains under Rs. 8 lakh, then he might still be eligible for the OBC-NCL benefits. It is crucial to verify the exact average income and consult the latest government notifications or a legal expert for confirmation on this matter.

THANK YOU!
