Does automation and robotics has scope?

rehan18alam Student Expert 29th Jun, 2019

Dear Aspirant,

These domains do not exist independently but rather intermingle with other domains like Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Neural Networks, etc. And yes this filed has an enormous potential provided that you do it right and from the right place. To do such professional courses you have to do them from colleges like IIT/IISC/NIT(top 10) only.

If you do such courses from rather new or low private universities you will not be able to get placements and hence no growth. Most students suffer despite having a good domain's degree because they have it from some bad college. So if you are planning to do something in robotics and AI, do it from some reputed college.

Hope this helps.

Thank You.

Scope of manufacturing engineering students in India and minimum salary.

Mythri 29th Jun, 2019
Hey !
Manufacturing Engineering is one of the streams of engineering which deals with various manufacturing processes (also on research and development process). Basically it's a collaboration of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering etc. Hiring Manufacturing engineering students is the  major requirement and need for many of the companies dealing with various machines which turn raw material into a finished product. Definitely there is a scope, but  starting salary package in many cases is not as much as other stream (CSE, ECE and etc) undergraduates . But still you can have a good career growth. Top recruiters are Birla power solutions, IBM, Electronics, health care etc. Designations you can grad include plant Engineer, process engineer etc.
Hope this helps

Hi after doing diploma in mechanical engg. How is the scope for evening B.Tech in mechanical engineer jobs, salary, company in Bangalore.

Shivansh Mishra 28th Jun, 2019

Mechanical engineering is good for a career in core engineering however it is not fully saturated or explored in India due to the lack of industries in the Mechanical sector. For mechanical sector, cities like Chennai, Pune and Gurugram are better with more industries nearby. Bangalore is good for the Software industries.
