Hope this helps you :)
Dear Aspirant,
These domains do not exist independently but rather intermingle with other domains like Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Neural Networks, etc. And yes this filed has an enormous potential provided that you do it right and from the right place. To do such professional courses you have to do them from colleges like IIT/IISC/NIT(top 10) only.
If you do such courses from rather new or low private universities you will not be able to get placements and hence no growth. Most students suffer despite having a good domain's degree because they have it from some bad college. So if you are planning to do something in robotics and AI, do it from some reputed college.
Hope this helps.
Thank You.
greetings,
yes ofcourse, robotics and automation has immense scope in the coming future with the coming of artificial intelligence.

hope this helps.
good luck
Mechanical engineering is good for a career in core engineering however it is not fully saturated or explored in India due to the lack of industries in the Mechanical sector. For mechanical sector, cities like Chennai, Pune and Gurugram are better with more industries nearby. Bangalore is good for the Software industries.
