my expt score is 295 st category in neet 2025 can i get any mbbs or bds cource in odisha state counceling

Rajeswari 1st Jun, 2025

Hello,

With an expected score of 295 in NEET 2025 as an ST category candidate in Odisha, you have a good chance of getting a BDS seat but for MBBS the chances are minimal.

The expected cutoffs for government colleges in Odisha for ST candidates are around 380-400 marks. Therefore, with 295 marks, your chances of getting an MBBS seat in a government college are limited, but not impossible.

BDS courses in government colleges usually have lower cutoffs compared to MBBS.

How to check the percentage in jnvst navodaya exam result and what is the expected cut of marks for sc students out of 85 marks and the student has secured 42 in it and total score is 51

Shivani Chaurasia 6th Sep, 2025

Hi sanika!

You can check the percentage in the jnvst Navodaya exam by login in at the official Navodaya vidyalaya samiti portal using your roll number and date of birth. Once the result is visible you can calculate the percentage manually by dividing the marks which (scored by you in total) by the total marks and multiply by 500.

Now talking about cutoff for SC category students, in recent years the expected qualifying range for class 6 admissions usually range between 60-68 marks out of 100 which is roughly 51% to 68%.

This means that your score of 51 out of 85 is at the lower end of the expected SC cut off. So it does not confirm your selection but you can hope for it as performance is in that range and it often falls within the qualifying bracket.

Hope it helps!

I got 630 score in ee gate ,can I get instrumentation and integrated electronics in IIT Kharagpur

kumardurgesh1802 27th May, 2025

Hello there,

With a GATE Electrical Engineering (EE) score of 630, getting admission to the M.Tech program in Instrumentation and Integrated Electronics at IIT Kharagpur is unlikely.

Key points:

  • The closing GATE score for this program in 2024 was around 608 for the general category.

  • For reserved categories, cutoffs are lower (OBC around 573, SC around 337, ST around 248).

  • Admission depends on GATE score and sometimes an interview.

Recommendations:

  • You can consider applying to other IITs or NITs where your score may meet the cutoff for similar courses.

  • Explore other reputed institutes offering M.Tech in Instrumentation and Electronics.

  • If this field is important for you, consider preparing to improve your GATE score for the next attempt.
