Sakshi Sharma 25th Jun, 2025

Good afternoon ,

I would like to know you that no you are not eligible for NEET exam is you score 49% in PCB without practical. As per the eligibility criteria of NEET , student should have 50% aggregate in general category and 40% for reserved category . You should have 50% without practicals to give Neet exam even as a Gen EWS category.

Neet 50% criteria is included practical or I have to score 150 in pcb theory subjects because I scored 49% in pcb theory but if I included practical marks than it will be 58% So please tell me I am elegible for neet or not

Prachi Kumari 18th Jun, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible for NEET .

The 50% criteria in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) includes both theory and practical marks . So, if your overall marks in PCB (including practicals) is 58%, then you meet the eligibility criteria.

You do not need to score 150 marks in theory alone. The total percentage is what matters, including both theory and practicals.

So don't worry, you are eligible.

Hope it helps !

How much should I score to get in Top 25 , 50 and. 100 rank in HITSEEE exam

Prachi Kumari 5th Jun, 2025

Hello,

To get a rough idea for HITSEEE ranks :

  • For Top 25 rank, you usually need around 100+ marks.

  • For Top 50 rank, about 90–100 marks should be enough.

  • For Top 100 rank, scoring around 80–90 marks is good.

These are approximate and can change every year depending on the difficulty level and competition. But aiming for these marks will give you a good chance.

Hope it helps !

I got 53.82 percentile in JEE mains and AIR SC final score 57069 .can i got NIT with CS and AI

Gregary mathew K.B 29th Apr, 2025

With 53.82 percentile and AIR 57069 (SC), getting CS or AI in top NITs is unlikely. However, you may have a chance in newer or less popular NITs or through home state quota. Try CS-related branches too.

i got 334 gate score in ece i am from sc category is there any chance to get vlsi in top iits and nits

Suganya M 29th Apr, 2025

Congratulations on qualifying GATE! Here is a detailed professional answer to your query:

1. GATE Score and Category Advantage:

  • A GATE score of 334 in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) under the SC category gives you a decent advantage.

  • Cutoffs for SC candidates are usually much lower compared to the General category.

  • This score can open up opportunities in good institutes, but getting the topmost IIITs may still be slightly competitive for specialized branches like VLSI.

2. Admission Chances in Top IIITs for VLSI:

  • IIIT Hyderabad is one of the top IIITs for VLSI but generally requires a higher GATE score, even for SC candidates (around 400+).

  • Other IIITs like IIIT Bangalore, IIIT Delhi, IIIT Allahabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur may have lower cutoffs and offer decent chances for VLSI-related programs.

  • IIIT Bangalore considers both GATE scores and past academic performance, so you may still have a chance there with a strong profile.

3. Alternative Options to Consider:

  • NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Warangal, and MNIT Jaipur offer excellent VLSI programs and may have cutoffs suitable for your score under SC reservation.

  • Central universities such as IIITDM Kancheepuram and other newer IIITs could also be good backup options.

4. Important Suggestions:

  • Apply to a wide range of IIITs and NITs to maximize your chances.

  • Keep track of CCMT counselling and institute-specific admission processes.

  • Also check for special admission rounds or spot counselling if your preferred institute has vacant seats later.

5. Conclusion:

  • While securing VLSI in the very top IIITs like IIIT Hyderabad may be challenging, you still have very good chances in other reputed IIITs and NITs.

  • With proper choice filling and a little flexibility regarding specialization (like Embedded Systems or Microelectronics), you can secure a strong seat.
